Anyone know if the new gear is on a datamine website or elsewhere? Trying to figure out the rest of the gear I want to get while at work <_<

This. In fact the way they have worded the Alexander Normal gear "Prototype" and the tokens "Untarnished" pretty much confirms that Alex Savage will drop regular tokens and will allow you to upgrade your Prototype gear to regular gear or Gear Mk.1 or some shit. Pretty much how Ironworks went as well with base not being dye-able and upgraded versions could.

Also if judging by initial reports body tokens only drop from Turn 4 then it would take 4 weeks to get your Body and by then Alexander Savage would have already been out for 2 weeks so what would be the point? From a longevity and relevancy stand point it makes much more sense for them to have Alexander Savage gear rely on Normal mode drops as well.

You can DF it. It's not bad while the people with common sense and some sense of raiding are doing it atm, but once the...leftovers....are going through it. Good luck my friend.
(You know, the ones who blame the healer or tanks for mechanics they, the dps, should be doing?) Turn 1 especially is going to be a pain in DF for a lot of people.

alex normal mode is just a 8 man expert roulette except you dont have to kill many shits to get to last boss

What is also concerning to me is that none of the i180 or i190 healer gear gives accuracy at all.

The only thing I've had a hard time hitting at the adds in rav ex, but idk I fear I won't be ready to dps savage.

I'm guessing accuracy is not going to be a thing? Or something. (They should have solved this a long time ago by adding accuracy to Cleric Stance.)

It's pretty annoying going back into LV50 content and missing because all your synced LV60 gear has no accuracy. I'm not keeping two sets.

that's the solution to our problem. their problem is healers DPSing in relevant content. to them Healer DPS is for killing things when they are doing quests solo.

It probably will. They said a main scenario battle will see a rematch and there's only one.

Potential for reactor rematch still there. Since alex hard basically story mode savage couldn't have a story reason for us going back and it seems now the minstrel function going forward is to enable new fights that for story reasons can't/wouldn't happen ala Ultima rematch. Ultima rematch is even a prereq to alex savage so heres hoping for more Minstrel embellished fights.
