They're counting out Touchdown Tom to break Peyton's record!
Simply amazing that PeyPey was out a full year and still has virtually every offensive QB career record in his sights or broken already.

Hey Peyton, if that congratulatory text from "He who shall not be named" is an MMS... Prolly best to just delete that one.
OH MY GOD
fucking looooooooool
Koetter is ok. The offensive line has always been the issue. It could have been average (which would have been above average for us) with everyone healthy, but when a mediocre oline with little depth gets destroyed by injuries you get the current abomination. I didn't bother watching the game.
I did catch the stat that we haven't had a 100 yard rusher in 32 games. That's fucking ridiculous. The sad thing is the dline is almost as bad, but I think if we ever find one good pass rusher it would be saved. The oline will take at least another year to build.
The o line is certainly terrible but the play calling does absolutely nothing to account for that. This is why when an o line is bad and the team does badly its almost always gotta come back to the OC too. To argue that an offense can't succeed with a bad o line is foolish. Look at rivers and Brady right now. Rodgers recently. Hell the chargers manage to run the ball with Oliver despite the games worst o line right now.
Matt Ryan is good enough to succeed without a good o line but the play calls are just terrible. They don't roll him out or cross Jones or Roddy for a short gain with high YAC potential. They don't get the TEs involved at all ( I recognize the TEs suck but you gotta try). With that many RB you'd think one of em could run a decent screen or dump off but we will never know as long as you're trying to either fun it up the gut or make a 20+ hard pass that needs more time to develop than that line can give you.
Ravens defense is great but I'm telling you if they tried rolling Matty ice out of the collapsing pocket on even 10% of those plays and having him hit a medium route he could've carved them up. If your line is getting bull rushed then stop trying to survive in a pocket that doesn't exist.
This is just basic stuff and I am aware hat personnel matter. I have to believe guys as talented as Roddy and Julio could contribute more than they are though.
idk how you figure the chargers oline is worse than ours. I also don't think you know our personnel and what our gameplan should be better than Koetter. all that said, I didn't watch any of the game today so I can't comment on specifics. I'll keep an eye on it next week since it will be on TV
my main criticism has been not getting Antone Smith enough touches, since he is basically a lock for a long TD if you get him involved.
The Chicago Blackhawks are the most recent Chicago team to win at Soldier Field
edit:
Ravens pass rush might be pretty good

i understand connor barwin played like an animal against the giants but he is not a top 20 anything
edit: didn't even notice trent cole the first time I saw the list, that list is strange
edit part deux: wtf graham is on that list too and he's essentially a rotation guy
It's not a "top 20 players' list of any sort, it's a list that sorts by the overall pass rushing effectiveness of each player. A rotation guy can certainly make the list if they have an impact on the snaps they play. It lists snap count for each player for reference, too. In this instance, Barwin is good at rushing the passer and pretty fucking terrible at anything else. That sounds right to me. It's true for Dumervil, too, but Dumervil is only played on passing downs, so it works out fine
