Then dont jump into a topic of death penalty to child rapists if words akin to "what would you do if it was your daughter" triggers you.
Once again
There is no way to tip toe around this. The fact hes this triggered over it, rightfully so, means him making his stupid Sharia Law reply after my original post was nothing more than trolling. If he doesnt like the reply he got, he shouldnt have dropped such a pathetic troll attempt.
“This topic can be very very easily weaponized against me, I should go troll the asshole that doesnt have a filter with it.”
Galaxy brain moves.
Homie had Sharias Law jokes when its someone elses daughter
But when its his daughter, all of a sudden hes all on board with it, and that was just over a “what if it was yours”
Which was the very point of my original post. But hey, “Allahu Akbar”. Which was kinda racist btw.
Nynja getting triggered by a joke claiming he supports sharia law was def not on my bingo card for 2023

Me: “Archi was making stupid sharia law jokes”
Archi: “citation needed”
Salodin: “archi was making sharia law jokes”
Lol
"Someone else's daughter" aka someone fictitious.
But then you brought in an actual person's daughter into it. Just learn to shut the fuck up sometimes.
Nynja you gotta let this one go man

When its someone elses daughter, its joke worthy about Sharia Law , but "what if it was yours" all of a sudden he wants me dead.
I got the response I wanted.
"what if it was yours" is also fictitious. Except the thought of it becoming fictional generates a more real reaction, and now its not a joke, even though it is, as you said, fictitious.
For the record if someone raped my <insert whatever here> I would want them dead. A law to that effect though sounds stupid.
I'd be the first to feed them a piece at a time to pigs, but the way the death penalty is used in the US is already hot garbage. No need to add to the travesty.
I've gone back and forth on the death penalty over the years but I've landed pretty firmly over the past decade on that the state should not have the power to execute citizens.
there is a disconnection between do some people deserve to die and should the creeky and corrupt mechanisms of state justice be given the right of life and death over its citizenry
in the US alone there have been 200 formal death row exonerations and an unquantifiable number of unofficial innocent others. the deterrent effect is non-existent, Biblical eye for eye vengeance is the jurisprudence of children, Bronze ages brutes, the insecure, and the complexity of the process means millions more are wasted on death penalty enforcement than would be on life without parole.
there is no real utilitarian argument for capital punishment, which is probably why it is everywhere abolished among the civilized nations and some 90% of the world's executions are carried out in the forward thinking states of China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iraq. any time you find yourself on a list with those suckas, as the USA does, you done goofed.
