Florida Senate has passed a bill, now waiting for DeSantis’ signature, would raise the legal age requirement for strippers from 18 to 21. Many Democrats voted in favor of the bill because it was bundled in to a bill that included harsher penalties for human trafficking and aid packages for trafficking victims. If DeSantis signs the bill it could take effect as early as July.

DeSantis signed modified social media ban bill. Original bill banned outright for anyone younger than 16. The new modified bill bans social media for anyone younger than 14, and requires parental permission for 15 and 16.
