Yeah Kamiya is kind of insane in any regard, but apparently he makes good games so it's ok.
I took his comment to be more about how unkempt the one women looked in that video, as opposed to even Anita taking the time to look professional(ish?) in her videos, which I think would have been an accurate observation if not entirely pointless... Though I guess he could have just been herp derping and I don't know his posts too much.
Ethics is game journalism! All men should wear suits at E3 so they're professional journalists! #suitsatE3
This just in: woman on the run from death threats unkempt for 20th interview in the week
interview for a fucking youtube channel
I guess when I start my career as a professional victim that I should just wear my boxers, a wife beater and do more meth than my body weight before an interview.
Maz, reading is not that hard and I know you're capable of doing it. I'm saying it was an accurate observation, but pointless.if not entirely pointless
Edit: For the topic of professionalism in these situations. I'm actually more toward the side of enjoying a casual feel in places of work and such, as long as you look like you bathe regularly and your clothes are clean, because it makes it feel more friendly and comfortable. I imagine the devs at E3 know gamers and most people normally don't give a damn about suit/ties in a place people dress up as cats, so they dress more casual. Its also a bit more inviting than a suit and tie fellow talking to you. Maybe its just me, but i feel more comfortable talking to/listening to people who are dressed in a more casual way than I would someone in a suit/tie. This will of course vary based on he situation, but I find it to be true in places like game conferences/tournaments/E3 type deals.
I mean, at FanFest Yoshi wore a James Bond shirt which i believe was a teaser at something but still... the point stands... normally when it comes to gaming and gaming events, Suits and ties aren't really required or cared about by participants.
Which part, the part no one cares about how men look or the part where no one cares if men get death threats because they don't have a vagina and they didn't howl and scream to the heavens about it.
the first
With your posts it seems like the second.

This video by moviebob perfectly encapsulates how I feel about complaints about feminist criticism in video games. As was already mentioned earlier in the thread: the complaint that using a feminist lense to criticisze games or advocating for more inclusiveness in games is somehow dragging politics into games is fallacious because politics permeates every sphere in society, including games. And people who say that advocating inclusiveness in games is pushing politics into games should beware that what they're really saying isn't that they don't want that kind of politics in their games.
and there's a line in this video going around where some hipster with an origami sockpuppet quotes rationalwiki at people which perfectly encapsulates how deluded that argument is, which goes something like:
"All games are political. Even games which aren't political are implicitly political in their rejection of politics."
Moviebob defended Other M.
That's all I have to say about his opinions.
