If you go on the internet as DariusGrey, and try to never divulge your full name or location, and someone goes through your shit and pieces shit together about you, then releases that information...yeah, its kind of an invasion of privacy.

Too bad that's never happened to any SJWs. If the SJWs were anonymous it would force us to take their arguments based on their merit rather than based on what their gender, race, or reputation is. This is one of the primary reasons why SJWs hate anonymous culture. If every SJW had to backup their arguments with facts and citations their arguments would fall apart all that much faster. No more of this "I'm not going to Google it for you", "This is so prevalent we dont need to cite sources", or "Listen and believe" malarkey. They would be subject to the same standard of proof as everyone else.

to that end, it might as well be okay for everyone at my company to know my address, phone number, personal e-mail, etc because they know my name. I completely disagree with that notion

It's like Darius said, it's the context. There's nothing wrong with saying "The President lives at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue", if for example the conversation is "Where is the White House really?". If the conversation was "I sure hate the president and I wish someone would do something about it" and then you follow it up with "The President lives at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue", then yeah that's obviously contributing to harassment.

I obviously slipped up then, if I never divulged any information the absolute most anyone could determine is the city I live in via my IP(and even not that if I went one extra step). Everything past that is information I willingly made public, and if people piece it together, sure, I may not LIKE that, but they're doing it through information I freely made public, which is my own damn fault if I truly valued anonymity.

Again, no one in question was actually doing this. When you make yourself a public figure you sacrifice anonymity for that(just like I'm a public figure, my identity isn't a secret on the internet, and it's ridiculously easy to find my address/phone#/etc in public records. Just no one gives a shit enough to harass me, plus I *mostly* don't make many enemies!)

Okay, this flagged my attention. Mainly the "he". I was talking with my buddy today and he said something about Brianna's profile used to have stuff about transgender. I thought Brianna was a cis woman. Is that incorrect?

Lately I've been allowing my profiles to be synched up with each other. Mainly because I'm a grown ass man and feel I don't have to protect myself from "internet predators" like I did when I was in my teens. I also don't feel I'm out there running my mouth or drawing attention to me in such a way that someone would want to target me for anything. Hell, I have 3 usernames that I usually use and I'm in the top few results of a google search when you search them. I usually use the same avatar for all of them also.

Hard to say it's truly factual, though the evidence is really really strong, that Brianna Wu was born a rich white male and only relatively recently transitioned. Which I don't think really makes it any more crazy really, M->F isn't an issue for a SPW(socially privileged warrior), the hypocrisy is really more how wealthy Brianna was born and how little she recognizes this as having far more impact than anything else.

Pro-Gamers try. It's a hard battle because anyone subscribed to the SJW game sticks their fingers in their ears and doesnt listen.
