I think my favorite (sarcasm) line was at the end when faux-Anita was like "woman in gaming... what did I expect..." it was just. Hilarious. Feel like the episode hurt the SJW crowd more than the gamer crowd. Gamers don't give a shit and they'll continue to not give a shit. There will always be vidya. Vidya is eternal. Unlike SJW's, I don't let words control me so if I tell someone I'm a gamer and random schlump thinks I'm a game-dev-abducting-serial-rapist, I'll eyeroll, laugh at them and then go back to playing video games just like I've always done.

I'm a little confused as to why this is a "win" for Gamergate. Is it because it takes such an extreme or unbelievable turn during the story?

Some people are considering it a win because people who arent extremists on either side will recognize it as an extremely ridiculous parody that will undermine the credibility of the argument of the other side given that their narrative is 99% directly what was shown in the story. Thus people will be less likely to believe the Anti-Gamer story of what's happening.

Even that is sketchy as Zoe and her battle about who was more represented in the episode.

Or is he one of those idiots that spewed that type of shit and thinks the SVU episode "belittles the actual victims" which I find curious. How does it belittle them. It's bringing more attention to the victims that it happens to. Shouldn't he be happy about that? I don't agree with many of this lady's suppositions about why things are what they are but I definitely agree that femfreq and this brand of internet feminism (the main force of anti-ggers) is drowing out other voices... even other feminist voices and having an inverse effect to the intended effect (less diversity, but instead more tokenism).
