It's not really surprising that what is an SJW now, as they are more mature, was a complete autist in their younger days. Most of what that person said was probably not deeply convicted even at the time it was being said.

Think of it like the progression from Liberal to Conservative that most people make.

I thought so too because a lot of the logs that were posted seemed sarcastic to me. Like bullshit AIM chat conversations in the early 00s.

But the more those logs go on, the more convinced I am it was very much serious.

The only difference between something seriously believed and a deeply held conviction is the length of time you've believed it. You can never tell the difference unless it someday stops being believed.

If you ask me, somebody who was continually linking child porn, had a bunch of child porn on their computer, had underaged girls as their forum avatars on multiple websites and argued quite passionately for it is someone with a deeply held conviction for pedophilia.
