I'm not really sold on it, but I can kind of see where they're coming from when people make that argument. They're both ostensibly about bringing forth some sort of utopian ideal of "equality" and seek to do it by being divisive as fuck. Marxism pits the proletariat against the bourgeoisie while Feminism pits women against men.
Kind of a shitty analogy, but I can understand why people make it.
