Honestly, she poked the hornets nest and i've noticed GG will harrass/expose anyone who doesn't agree with them. Ethics in journalism be damned. My understanding as a PR rep, she was blamed for the whole xenosaga censorship even though she had nothing to do with that decision, someone found a paper she wrote in college that was positive towards japan's sexualization of minors (never mind the fact that if i remember correctly Japan has a much lower child sexual abuse rate than we have over here), and so GG ran with it that she's a pedo, and found out she's an escort which means hubby is a cuck (which may or may not be true).

Honestly, if they want to whore themselves out, who am I to judge. Hell I'm in an open marriage. What happens in our house isn't anyone else's concern. But yeah, she's boned for "legit" work for the next several years, though this controversy will probably increase her money as an escort as there is no such thing as bad news, and men have a thing with bad girls next door so to speak.

Not to sound like I'm defending the terribad GG folks, but it's common on both sides. For every asshole on GG's side, you have an asshole on the A-GG side. Personally, I'd think the A-GG side would outnumber it because of the general mentality of the individuals that encompass the group.

It must be the places I go, but I find the exact opposite of that happening. I thought most of the swatting stuff that had happened was because of 3rd party trolls. I haven't really been paying attention to that much though. The most recent example I've seen was a Youtuber by the name of Mundane Matt that got swatted a few weeks ago.

It's hard to say, I would say that one side claims to want diversity/inclusivity in games, while the other just wants developers to make what they want. I would think the A-GG side is the side that is against your small hips big tits because they seem to feel women are overly sexualized in games.


The main problem I had with this was the ideals that were trying to force game developers to censor their content on the behest of individuals that don't even play their games. People need to sit back and chill the fuck out. Internet outrage is starting to become ridiculous.

Anti-Gamer Gate is against the female anatomy because in video games, a female character will move her hips more than a male character due to the male gaze. It has nothing to do with having naturally wider hips, even in situations where motion capture is used.

Anti-Gamer Gate doesn't want diversity in video games, they want video games to not be for Mature audiences. The entirety of the library of video games Anita has rallied against were rated Mature, while all of the video games (except portal/2) she has been in favor of were rated E/T. If we can draw one conclusion from that, it is that Feminism/AGG is against Adults enjoying Adult content and their perfect games are games for children.

A-GG wants 'diversity in gaming' as much as GG wants 'ethics in gaming journalism.' Most don't actually give a shit about it, they just use it as a catch-all to complain about games they don't like.
