East Coast has pretty much no interesting games for me...West Coast though.Every game has me watching every moment I can.

Spurs can do it again this year, but with how its playing out so far, they are gonna have to work harder this year to get it.

there's 5 legit teams in the WC right now all playing quite well. most people are pegging spurs or gs to make it to the finals, but that doesn't give fair credit to memphis/clips/houston (dwight is pretty much dwight again). nobody is matchup proof in the west coast.

today's clips/spurs game is going to be gigantic. the clips are more talented but their bench is shit and there's a chance they might be too tired to sustain for the rest of the series. plus pop has pretty much outfoxed doc rivers thus far. i expect him to make some good adjustments for tonight's game.

I think Clippers/Spurs series is a toss-up right now but I can't see the Clippers getting past Golden State if they advance. You're right that Memphis and Houston are both legitimate contenders but the reason I think Spurs are the only alternative to come out of the west is their proven track record in the playoffs.

houston's a contender but probably the LCD of all of them. i dunno how they played against the spurs this year but the clips seemed to kill them basically every time. they'll have a rough time getting out of the second round. but with dwight rounding into form they basically always have a chance.

Houston with Beverley and Motiejunas would be a lot scarier, as is i imagine they're too thin to get out of the semifinals

likewise Memphis needs a healthy Conley or they have no chance against Golden State

still like the Hawks out East. people seem to be shocked Brooklyn is so competitive or using it as proof Atlanta is overrated but with a healthy, dominant Lopez over the last month of the season they really rounded into form and extending that 100% Lopez record to the entire season they would have been something like a 50 win 3 or 4 seed. they are far stronger than their 8th seed indicates and would advance past a lot of the teams ranked above them

I'm not shitting on Portland but I wanted that sweep. I'm in The Bay every weekend the Dubs are my stepteam and I love them as much as my Kings (which... even for a die hard is not hard to do.) This downtime...

Clips and Spurs is a good time though, idk how to feel on it but I'm all for the chance to dethrone the champs. That win would mean a lot, no Phil Jax asterisks or nothin'! lol that reference isn't really relevant but given their records against eachother, that series has absolute potential for crazy.

For reasons of a hard nosed series and true bragging rights, I want the Spurs and Warriors to go head up in the Conference Finals. The Dubs record against them is hard times so that series would (will!) be great. Here's hopin'.
