smn will get MP goad
MP for everyone else but yourself
They'll change Umbral Ice to be an AoE buff.
got a few new personal records this week, though it's not much of a record since the previous weeks my dps was always somewhat low due to me dying.
Spoiler: show
gears?
im 120 poetic body, bahamut belt and legs(which both sucks ass), the rest melded gears + baha neck, ring, shiva bracelet and 110 ring2 earring
only managed 490-495 across turn 10 11 and 12
maybe some day, the better bahamut pieces will drop for me (i hope)
i got fucking 600 acc and theres nothing else i can swap to lower it and get more crit/det except some bahamut gear zzz
130 weapon, 120 legs/1 ring/shiva bracers, pentamelded body, dreamwyrm head/feet/neck.
I notice the DPS jump from 120 to 130 weapon was really huge, maybe it's normal for melee but idk. I was playing BLM/SMN on second coil.
yea it was huge for weapons
damnit, i want that head and feet....
I got 522 on t10 with just a 120 weapon. My group is still working on phoenix as we don't raid very often.
I have dread neck and ear and the poetic legs. I was charged and tethered once and used LB3. Otherwise, I think I could push 530 pretty easily.

T10 is mostly luck tho
and also depends where your tanks wants to stand for wild charges
Found this on reddit, some incoming NIN changes
http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...f_plan_is_out/
Heres the moon rune post.
Seems like a rather incomplete list of changes, I'd expect more when they release official notes.
i'll translate that shit:
Doing balance to make NIN same to MNK/DRG as close as possible.
TP Adjustments:
Reason for this is because ninja is cycling mudras/ninjutsu between WSs, and therefore, they are consuming lesser TP over time compared to other jobs. At the same time, because WS are consuming lesser TP compared to DRG/MNK, you can see that NIN actually have more abundance of TP compared to the rest in a long fight. In addition, NIN has got better single target and also AOE damage. Therefore:
Aeolian edge become 60TP
Shadow fang become 70TP
DPS% adjustments:
Initially, ninjutsu are seemingly "complicated enough" and so we did not introduce a directional requirement for ninja's WSs as part of the job design.
And also, because ninja cannot use any action between mudras/ninjutsu, we finalize that NIN will not have a directional requirement for WSs.
MNKs need to maintain greased lightning, DRG need to do directional combos and ninjas require "reflexes" for ninjutsu combinations. So again, thats why they do not have directional requirements for WSs.
In order not to destroy and make too drastic changes to all the job designs we created, we are looking into how we can reduce the DPS%s to balance the jobs instead.
Without breaking the style of play adopted by the current players, WS rotations or even creating complexity to job balances, we are doing the following as a general direction of balance.
Both vemons will now be "Increase physical damage" only.
Adjustment summary:
Ninja is "complex enough" so we have no intention to give them any directional requirement for combos.
The current "commonly used" rotation will remain intact. You will not notice any difference in terms of play style.
With this 2 point in mind, we are also looking into balancing the other jobs.
This will not completely take away what the ninja offer. Please understand. Thanks yooooo
so will unbuffed raiton still be better than fuma now considering GCD pushback?
Hard to say without some sort of spreadsheet or in depth parse, but if Fuma is considered Physical-Slash it'll have an effective potency of 320 compared to Raiton's 360. If you have a BRD doing requiem though it's 320 v 400. If I had to guess, an 40/80 Potency difference every 20s is worth the potential of missing a single tick of a DoT. You also have to consider that the TP adjustment was based on the current rotation utilizing Raiton which accounted for overlapping Ninjutsu cast with GCD which is why NINs lasted longer. With the new TP costs and then also removing the GCD downtime you might starve yourself faster than optimal.
Edit: There's also the possibility Fuma is considered magical anyway as I don't recall anyone confirming whether it was physical or not. When people did the test for Foe's Requiem pretty sure Raiton was the basis for comparison.
Fuma is for sure Phys+Slashing.
