NEWNAN, Georgia (PIX11)– When Nikki Motta sent an email to the Suffolk County Police Department, on September 22, 2014, asking to meet, and thank, Police Officer Matthew Siesto—I knew her story was special. Officer Siesto had saved Motta’s life twice in the same month—October 2012—using the miracle drug, Narcan.

Not warm and fuzzy, but feelsgoodman.jpg when these Aryan assholes get busted.

Thirty-seven people — most from Dallas and surrounding cities, all affiliated with various white supremacist groups — have been arrested on drug-trafficking conspiracy charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The federal grand jury’s indictment, filed in October but unsealed today following the arrests, alleges that each defendant has been part of a meth-distribution operating from Tulsa to Mesquite. And, says the indictment, they’re all have ties to the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, the Irish Mob (which, the feds say, operates out of Tulsa), the Aryan Circle or the Dirty White Boys, which takes its name from a prison softball team formed in Texas in the mid-1980s.

Great to see Wisconsin passing this type of bill, hopefully it happens nationally.

Belongs in a different thread. Just saying.

Great-grandma gets purse stolen; Aurora cops change her locks, cancel credit cards & do her shopping

Julia Brecht was grocery shopping at the Aurora Super Target off of Alameda Avenue in late October, when a thief snatched her purse while in the produce section.

"I see this young person running out of the store," said Brecht.

It was a few minutes before she realized he took off with her purse.

"My billfold, the car keys, credit cards," said Brecht.

Target loss prevention called Aurora Police.

"They went far beyond what any person like me would expect," said Brecht.

Officers Craig Hess and Robert Little helped Brecht cancel her credit cards.

"They took it upon themselves to, at the store, go ahead and cancel her credit cards so they couldn't be used,' said Aurora Police spokeswoman Diana Cooley.

Their quick work prevented her cards from ever being used by the thief, but that's just where their kindness began.

"They grabbed my shopping list. They bought the groceries. One brought me home. They went back to Target and brought my car home," said Brecht.

I think it is in the right place, 5 police districts backed the measure and most of the good cops in Wisconsin are rallying behind it.

The context behind the article is pretty shitty and amounts to shitty police behavior.

What? No, i would expect nothing else from you than to be mad about investigating cops when they kill people.

The context behind the article is pretty shitty and amounts to shitty police behavior.
It's about doing something to curb that shitty behavior. That's a great thing.

But it doesn't make him feel good and it is certainly not warm or fuzzy. Just vindictive and satisfying.

It's neither, because it'll never pass the appeals court. But sure, let it be real as much as you want, it's still a pretty shitty situation.

Holy hell dude...lighten the fuck up a bit. But since you insist on poking everything with the combative seriousness stick; it's satisfying because some departments are at least trying to change things instead of saying shooting and killing a 12-year-old was a "good shoot". The kid did not deserve to die, but the officer had no choice other than to assume the gun was real. It is terrible all the way around. There is no "good shoot" anywhere in there.

This story belongs here just as much as the Milwaukie police officer video.

I actually do not agree with that video either, but it at least looks good. There's context for everything, something you wouldn't understand because you can't see beyond your own personal bias.

Coming straight from the pot, that is very funny. I really don't care what your opinion is on this. The police departments are trying to do something to curb bad behavior in response to an execution by an officer. This is a good thing.
