4.4 likely will be in September, 4.5 in Feb/March, 5.0 in July/August is what I’ve been reading. So, it’s gonna be a long road. They’ll announce whatever the 5.0 expansion is at Fanfest and that will paint a more clear picture of things to come.

I'm doing old beast tribe quests. Some of them are terrible, like "wait for x fate" and "do this invisible slyph thing". Can I just not do them and let them rotate the next day? Or will they be waiting for me the next day?

They rotate.

I would just do the 3 latest of each beast tribe. Fastest way to knock out all the 2.xx ones.

And I don’t think you can finish 2.0 beast tribes until you finish the Ixal quests. You can get to the point you can buy the mounts, but I think there are more tiers locked behind finishing Ixal quest line first.

Yah the only ones I've done ever is the crafting ones, so that isn't a blocker to me. Ixali/Moogle/Nazumu all capped.

Also with beast tribe quests the FATE ones are just a case of handing in the item that drops upon completion. When I was grinding the quests I got into a habit of doing the quest FATEs anyway if they were up when I was running past them (and they are all easy, done in less than 5mins on a lv50+ job & chocobuddy) because you could guarantee that in another day or two you would get the quest to hand in the item again. Once you rank up and unlock more quests as well you can choose to do easier lower tier quests instead of the more annoying ones (yeah fuck those Sylph ones where you have to run from invisiflower to the next all through the zone or the boar FATE at the far back). Granted this gives you less reputation points but is much faster when you want to grind four tribes per day and still have time left for other things.

So if I have a PS4 version of the game with all 3 expansions registered, to play that same account on PC do I actually need to buy all 3 expansions for PC. Or can I just buy the base game and then it will lot me in expansion areas anyway since I have them registered on the PS4?

That's like one of the most asked questions about the game. Yes you gotta blow money on all three all over again when you switch platforms.

Well in this case it's just the base game + latest expansion since Stormblood includes Heavensward. I do hope they continue this trend where the newest expansion just includes the prior ones, especially given they seem intent on keeping this single MSQ progression.

If the entire FC is inactive, will it get disbanded at some point?

I don't think so. FC names are unique to the server but the FC tag isn't.

The most I know about FC inactivity is if the owner is AFK for like a month and a half or some amount of time an officer can usurp the throne.

I don’t think the FC is disbanded, but if 30 days of no activity happens the FC house (if you have one) will be demolished and put back up for grabs for someone else.

What the probable thing that happens in 4.4 with weapon upgrades to current 4.3 version weapons? Will I probably be able to get solvent from the same way I get weave right now? With the 2 24 man tokens?

Last tier it happened in the same period the 3.36 patch would release.

With Eureka: Pagos happening however either we'll get it and the upgraded relic weapons will finish at i375 with customized stats.

Or it won't happen until 4.4 gets launched or they have another update planned in the meantime.

Do they? Once you're Lv.60 you stop aggroing the zone and can just mosey on through everything.

Its just the dumb “stay invisible while moving”, etc. just the worst so far
