Sound issues

ok, this issue is driving me crazy, hoping someone may be able to help

Yesterday I decided to splurge and I bought a Samsung UltraHD 4k Curved screen smart tv, and I hooked my PC up to it with HDMI and had no issues all night with using it for watching movies or playing games etc.

The issue started today when I decided to wall mount my old tv, a 52" Sharp Aquos, above my new TV and use it as a secondary display, I hooked it up using the DVI Port on my graphics card, i'mm not 100% sure exactly when it happened, but all of a sudden sound stopped coming out of my new TV's speakers from the HDMI input, the speakers DO work because I can use the TV's browser to go to youtube and watch videos and I still get sound.

According to my PC's sound settings everything SHOULD be working fine

Does the sound come out of the pc's audio out while in this setup (try plugging some headphones in as well)? If you hook only one tv through hdmi, do you get sound? If so, maybe it's not configured to know which hdmi device to output sound to. If no sound in either case, make sure the sound is turned up on all devices; reboot with just one tv hooked up and see if it works. Try the other. Reboot with both plugged in. See (hear?) what happens (ie: does a tv get output or is it the normal audio jack?).

the new TV is hooked up with HDMI, and the old tv is hooked up with DVI, I have a Steelseries Siberia V2 headset plugged in, which works and I can get sound out of it, it's just the new TV speakers that I can't get sound out of, which is odd because it was working yesterday =\

See if there's an hdmi audio device in your sound properties. It would be in your playback devices list, digital audio hdmi. See if you can set it as a default device after you've plugged in hdmi. Without it plugged in, it should be marked as "not plugged in" and won't have an audio activity bar like "speakers" should.

Though, I'm using an amd laptop, so I'm not too sure if nvidia's is any different (probably isn't). See if you can fiddle with something in there. And probably unplug your headphones, since we at least know you're getting sound, just not on the right output.
