FFXIV Accomplishments Thread - Yay I did it!

Tried to model my character after Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile, and surprisingly people have been pointing it out! Definitely an accomplishment for me personally, because I love all things VP. It started a lot of Valkyrie Profile talk, and now I want to play part 2 because I never did.







What do you all think?

Also I joined my RL friend's static as OT and so far so good. We did Aquapolis and made it to the 7th floor on our 2nd try after getting the boot on the 5th floor the previous try. I was 100 Lore and 200k gil richer just for showing up. A lot of nice minion's dropped, all trade/sellable.

And yes Aquapolis is underrated. The Lore alone makes it worth while IMO, allows you to cap weekly very fast.

That blue on Wootz looks good. I might steal some of this. Tired of Lore body.

Yeah, love me some Koenig gear. I used the WoD fending body with wine red gloves/boots for a while and really liked it before trading it in for the 195 tank set + highlander lv1 boots.

I used the Wootz/Koenig body, hands, feet and the Dravanian kilt from the Antitower tank set that drops, which is basically a recoloring of the LV55 Aery tank set, which I need to run again because I think that version is white, just like Lenneth's. The head piece is the PLD i200/210 eso set, and I used Storm Blue dye for the armor pieces except the head, it looked the most like the color of her armor. I used Ravana's Sword and Shield because it just looks right for some reason, mainly because it sort of reminds me of those crystals she throws to climb things. I was thinking of using one of the LV 50 PLD Relics but it didn't look right, so Ravana it is for now.

The background I was in was from the first time I ran the new Sohr Khai dungeon, it really reminded me of the beautiful huge lanscape of Valhalla.

OMFG YESSSSSS. FINALLY. After losing rolls on 6 birds, I finally got it at lucky 7. After at least 100+ attempts from just farming lore/tomes over the course since it released, so very slowly. I haven't even tried running for it in at least 2 months, but I got tired of doing expert to cap, so once again I grinded it out and it paid off!

Last time we did Nidhogg EX we had been stuck on the towers phase for the past 2 weeks. Today my static finally reached the very last phase where you have to DPS him down and survive his other mechanics in between the Ahk Morn spam and the tank swaps. We got him down to 32% before we wiped, we kept pushing him to around that % consistently, but had to call the raid because of time. We are definitely going for a kill tomorrow, I am extremely hyped and pray to Hydaelyn that the Axe drops so I can use my Warrior again.

Not sure if anyone here from SARGANTAS is looking to join a static, but we definitely have a spot open for a healer. We run on the lamest days of the week to avoid having to play on weekends, Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 6PM to 8PM PST.

Did a Haukke Manor run as a newbie AST. We only 3-manned the final boss since the tank ditched us (probably due to frustration, since the MNK kept pulling off him), but I managed to keep us all alive with only one death. Not the most ideal way to learn AST healing but I'll take it.

Sohr Khai dropped an amazing looking helmet, I was finally able to make my character resemble Hrist a bit more, reminds me a lot of her.





Close enough anyway, I was thinking of running the Aery for that version of the fending kilt but it looks like it may actually be a dirty white or beige so going to pass on that. I am very happy with this look, I didn't want to ever change Lenneth but this will do.

Does anybody know what the rest of the set looks like?

Killed Nidhogg 3 times today!! Feels good man. Ended up getting the BLM weapon on greed rolling. 7 more or if I get lucky til I get my weapon!

Was invited to join my FC's main raiding group two nights ago. Last night we cleared A5S and got all the way to Vortexer in A6S (what their old static was stuck on). This is my first dabble in any sort of Savage content or even raiding for that matter. Not the biggest accomplishment but feels like a milestone for myself in this game!

We finished our business with Nidhogg, everyone got what they wanted and now I am going to enter Midas Savage for the first time. This group has cleared it and got up to Vortexer on A6S but tank brainfarts happened and the OT ended up quitting and I stepped up. I did the first Gordias savage and that was pretty easy, this one doesn't seem too tough either. Either way I could use some of those delicious DET fending jewels.

I got impatient and ended up getting the Axe from POTD and just used my tokens for the Horde Guillotine for my DRK, just didn't want to throw away all that work from POTD so quickly. I didn't think we would be done so quick, but here we are.

DPS is pretty decent in the group, especially our Ninja and Dragoon, those guys are on steroids, our BRD is also very good for being well a bard. We are short 1 good DPS and we carried at least 3-5 different DPS in PF but oh well. I am just glad to be doing something again after about 2 months of doing nothing and nearly quitting the game. The healers are also very prepared, the main tank is also very skilled for being a DRK, I offtank on WAR. Our goal is to clear all of Midas Savage, with our 7 I definitely think we can but it's just finding that 1 more DPS that won't bail out. It's a lot harder than I thought and on Sargantas just about any shameless dipshit will join your group with probably 0% experience or won't get on TS, both !

Farmed all 222 Legendary Yokai medals. Mount is glowy, I guess. Needs to vomit rainbows.

A5S cleared on our 2nd week! Very happy and nobody died on this attempt at all. Next week we will clear it again and move onto A6S.
