What's the best use for poetics after getting all the upgraded Ironworks you need?

Stock up on Superior Enchanted Ink and Thavnairian Mist (Sets of 5) to trade to Ulan when you get to the i240 Anima step. Either that or buy mats to sell on MB.

Edit: Finally stepped into A11S. I've seen up to 45% (End of second platform. Haven't gotten to pillars yet.). This boss has no chill.

You can also buy the accessories to trade into the GC for seals if you want to stock up on ventures (for present or future retainer adventures) or be aggressive with your platoonthingie.

Taught some newbie Turn 8. We didn't have enough DPS to skip mechanics (I was providing half of it) so I had push towers. Help a level51 tank pull and kill the dreadnaught. And the fucking hydrothermal missiles.

Oh my fucking god learning (And getting people to learn that mechanic) is a pain.

I'm on the fence with Anima but I might go for it. even though there are some pretty good weapons that drop from primals and such around the same ilvl. main reason being I plan on single-jobbing this game so if I'm gonna Bard, I'm gonna Bard hard as fuck

Its really not. The method of going back it is.

Step 1: An afternoon of FATEs (Its a 33% drop rate I think)
Step 2: 10 Dungeons.
Step 3: 80,000 GC Seals. 10 days of Beasttribe dailies.
Step 4: 5 Weeks of Crystal Tower Weekly.
Step 5: 21,600 Lore and some combination of things to get the necessary Crystal Sand. (Use Levequests, Poetics, and Blue Script)
Step 6: 7,500 Lore. Subtract 1,500 lore for every weekly, 150 lore for every daily expert.

You can do 3-5 at the same time. You can't do 6 weekly/dailies until you unlock that step. Anima weapons should be one of those things that you'll get around to it when you get around.

You'll probably be able to get a scripture weapon by the time you finish your Anima if you actually do attempt to grind the lore for it.

I don't think you can buy umbrite until you get to that step either, unless if they changed that.

I don't think there's anything stopping you from buying Umbrite or Singing Clusters through Lore. But you cannot obtain Crystal Sand from Ulan until you get on the quest (You can stock items prior though) and you can't get Singing Clusters through the weekly/daily quests until you unlock those NPCs.

Edit: I know I bought Umbrite before I even had the i210 step complete.

All your lore needs to go into Umbrite. The i240 step is ridicules and dumb.

^ 110% this. Best case scenario, buy the umbrite but hold off on doing that step unless you are wanting to power through. Next weapon upgrade is Jan or Mar so possible nerf to Oil stage or Umbrite so could be worth the wait. At least I am hoping so, working on second stack of umbrite for achievements and praying.

Likely the buff will be Umbrite + Crystal Sand will produce more Treated Crystal Sand (Guaranteed 6 per?)

They could nerf the price as well. But I wouldn't let capped lore go to waste.

Price nerf and a higher yield is what I am hoping for. 4 weapons left to get to 230 and hoping they add oils to poetics since those are at no use to me.

A11S Downed finally after going way overtime on raid and a heartbreaking .1% wipe. Time to do it again next week.

Fight is a pushover, took in people who haven't seen it and cleared within 2-3 pulls.
