yo whoever came up with A=adds, B=belly and C=chains needs to kill himself
yo whoever came up with A=adds, B=belly and C=chains needs to kill himself
double
Especially when you tell them why throwing a bunch of DPS in there is better and their only response is, "But A=Adds B=Belly C=Chains"
My favourite part is leaving a single persons job to an entire party of 8.
Is that where this all started? 2nd week into patch and doing wod and someone in alliance spouts out that nonsense. I thought to myself "what the hell is this" but apparently its the norm in DF now...
EDIT: I can't count.

I remember reading this a while back and noticing it catching on in almost every WoD I did afterwards.
This probably has a lot to do with it too: http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...tomach_is_not/
On JP datacenters B handles the big bad, A does mechanics, C does clean up (adds and shit). This has been consistent ever since Behemoth in CT1.
I'm surprised there isn't something similar on the otherside of the world.
So, I encountered someone new in Castrum, noticed they were from my server so I gave them (a MNK) a quick queue for Praetorium with my Tank. The other tank, Xuan Wu, wanted to speedrun, and took off from the start. We had three new people, and the other veterans (including him) berated him and said how much it sucks to speedrun your first run. So, we stopped speedrunning and let people watch the cutscenes.
Apparently he was a bit salty from that, and/or he noticed my search comment advertising my LGBT linkshell:
After the fag comment, I walked up to him in a speedo and posed for him. I think he was just insecure is all.
we burn it
no towers touching needed
in the past, ranged dps or healers do it
A is always adds/mechanics, B always main boss/MT, C always mechanics/adds
didnt faced, since day 1 of CT, what the NAs are facing, eg. tanks all trying to MT it with their gigantic egos intact
our B is always the MT
That would be so nice. It's a real luxury to have tanks that recognize and respond appropriately to adds.
Doing WoD the past few days people finally seem to have figured out that the ABC crap is inefficient, unnecessary, and stupid.
In the last 4-5 runs I've been to someone (other than myself) has suggested that the DPS just flood the stomach, with a few "^"s and "yea"s from myself and others it seems to actually be catching on.
A few of them had someone herp derping in alliance about how it's gonna get everyone killed or some crap, after the very smooth and quick kills I hope people will remember to ignore those morons.
If I'm on DPS I just go into stomach no matter what group I'm in.
Shit's fun, so why not.
Same, the alternative is getting killed by Wolfsbane.
At least when they go after the healers they can keep themselves alive long enough to bitch the tanks into actually doing something.
Same on the stomach and DPS thing. Less likely to die inside than staying outside.
Glad I'm not counting dungeons for zodiac because running a bunch tonight (picking all that are open and doing whatever pops) and nothing to show for it so far. Amazing how every step makes me miss the last.
I'm surprised at all the complaints about Cerb lol, in my runs people not paying attention in Cloud of Darkness is more of an issue.
I always try to bring up the DD get eaten thing in my groups. But from what I'm reading, Cerberus gets full at 8 folk? So even if all DD try to get eaten, only 8 out of 15 can enter... so you can tell those people whining that there will still be 7 DPS outside to help with Wolfsbane.
I did have a Lala PLD try to explain why it was bad to send all DD in, and by explain, just say "but ABC" and "but wolfsbane". In that situation I usually just go "k do whatever" and get eaten anyway since I'm a DD and f**k the police etc.
