No way to abandon a TT game against a NPC.
I honestly don't care if it counts as a loss for me, I just want a way to get out of TT when my DF pops up.
At this point I'd count your blessings...surprised we can even queue while in a TT game.
Random Complaint: GATE npcs allowing you to join the GATE despite the timer being near complete. I thought the GATE npc i was talking to had a deadline for registration. It was actually a countdown until the GATE was over. So I spent x MGP to see GATE JOINED->GATE FAILED lol.
Depends on the GATE. For the Ultros/Dance games there is a set amount of time to join before the event actually starts. For the others, you can join at any time.
Speaking of GATEs.... that fucking pot one is so annoying to do due to the clusterfuck of people around.
It's bad enough that some NPCs won't let you challenge them until you accept their quest, but having NPCs that require you to beat their quest first takes the piss. Especially when they are only available for challenging for about 10 minutes per hour. I waited for R'ashaht Rhiki's window to appear but I couldn't challenge him until I accepted and completed his boring quest. By the time I got back I had time for 3 games.
who hasn't completed every quest in game by now, pfft
Their exp value is trivial when you consider how fast you can level from just doing FATEs and leves, nvm dungeons if you actually want to queue.
I've done them all just to get the clutter off my map.

I gave up trying for Gaius. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten 60 cards already if I just farmed other stuff.
Jesus Christ... yeah, I think the Triple Triad implementation in this game is horrific, and that is one of many reasons.
That wall you hit when you're at 25-30 cards. I don't know why I'm continuing with this shit. Maybe the thought that it might be fun when I can use better cards.
That must have been torture. This Zombies Are People Too quest to unlock TT at Hab NPC is possibly the worst designed quest I've ever seen. They've placed an NPC as far away as possible in all three regions, as well as the quest giver, and told you to go there and find him for a "..." response.
i flew right by 30 cards up to 44 easily, just have to get around to farming some npcs now when I finish my second chocobo.
I think I struggled because I avoided trials. Squall was my 28th card, some of those NPCs were a bitch to beat with 1 star cards. When I got my 29th I thought fuck it and DFed Cape Westwind. 1/1. Then 1/1 WP. The silver/gold card packs have given me nothing but duplicates so far too which doesn't help.
Numbers on Levi were just drawn. 9799. WTF.
Spent all day doing duties for cards, only about two or three Ultros & Typhon (which I didn't need) to show for it
wow when you guys say gaius is awful i thought its just another bahamut type, where if i do for 1-3 hours straight i should get it
now i think i can say this as well
THAT FUCKING GAIUS
I will jump all over the fuck TT drop rates train. 8-9 hours of solid Battle in the Big Keep / Dragon Neck / GC NPC grinding. Not a single 5* to show for it. Also no exclusive cards from packs with the MGP either (and I currently have none of them)
If I put this much work into my relic it wouldn't still be 110. Hell, thats enough time to have the light stage completely done which is a ridiculous comparison. No drop whatsoever in the time it takes to do an entire relic stage.
