WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK.

I just left a fucking awful Sastasha run.
Tank kept trying to cleave me and get me stunned instead of him so he could stun the Tailscrew.
I ended up dying cause of the cleaving + slime. I don't have the fucking health to survive that shit. Took some sort of 2k to the face and wiped. Was constantly trying to face the scorpion at me and my egi and I was playing ring around the rosie trying to protect both of us.

He claims the shit was because of the slime and not his intention to get me stunned but fuck that.
I've never done a Sastasha where someone drags the boss to kill me and my Garuda Egi from the back wall. Killed my Egi 2x and destroyed my rotations with his chasing me around trying to drag the boss on top of me. Fight took way longer than it should have because he didn't want to get stunned. I could give a shit all about fucking getting tailscrewed. It's not like the first fucking boss is that hard.

I've never done shittier DPS on this boss. Ate 2 raging strikes and how the fuck did I manage to take so fucking long on this boss. OH RIGHT CAUSE GARUDA EGI DIED 2X and I'm trying to recover shit without a swiftcast.

Once he realized I was going to get the healer cleaved as well (stacked on the healer cause fuck life) he started chasing the other dps around the zone with his cleave bullshit.

Fuck him.

I feel better with this tantrum over.

In addition to all of this, he never bothered provoking back the trash or keeping any sort of hate up and was letting me and the other DPS die to fucking trash. Then started doing power pulls but only aggroed by sight and letting us get hate because he didn't warn us that he was going to do big pulls after the first few sets of single pulls. Didn't even turn around as we started dying.

Nope, still angry.

How the fuck does a summoner go to the top of the hate chart with a warrior tank on trash? Laziness.

This is not someone nor the gear who can top the hate list. This is not someone who shreds WAR hate on all the trash including the one being targeted. I had to stop casting dots so the healer wouldn't let me die.

I haven't had to coddle a tank's ability to hold hate on my SMN since the fucking original Amp Keep.
What sort of piss-poor tanking can't handle my fucking sham of DPS.

Got snowcloak on DR as a healer 45mins before the daily reset. The BLM we had wasn't using his AoE spells ever. I tried to use holy but the tank kept getting hammered by the big pulls he was pulling to make my nuking efficient. I asked the BLM to AoE, he refused because, as he said himself, he is lazy. Tried to kick him, motion rejected. Yay for 35mins dungeons.

Yeah, DRG gear is the only one. If you rate DEF / MDEF on a 1-4 scale on gear
4/4 Tanks
3/1 DRG
2/2 Everyone else
1/3 Casters (and crafters/gatherer/misc)

So they need to be brought up to 3/2, or at 2/2 like everyone else.

Never needed to do this, I don't understand why Screw needs to be stunned unless you don't have a healer. It never kills unless person has Slime. It deals ~99% of current HP and nothing more.

I assume the idea was to differentiate "heavy" and "light" physical DPS in the same way that DRG has more STR/VIT than MNK.

The obvious problem being the vast majority of unavoidable AoE damage is magical, not physical.

It certainly doesn't help that B4B is such a significant damage boost for DRG that not being able to use it because of incoming AoEs is murder on their damage. Combined with DRG's already lesser MDef there are a number of situations where it'll straight up get you killed. I remember being terrified of ever using it during Levi post-AF, I imagine Shiva is even worse with the damage/vulnerability stacks and that raid-wide attack I can't remember the name of.

They really need to scale back the increased damage taken to 10% or something, the skill is already pretty lackluster when used cross class (a 2.5% increase if you use it as often as possible) but taking 25% more damage for the duration can turn it into a pure liability.

Ive wiped on that boss in pugs more than I want to admit, probably more than the fucker that shoots you and yes you can do whatever you want. Im just saying that is what the mechanic is intended to be there for.

I miss confusing the fuck out of people by passing my tether onto them before he swallows.

As for scorp prey shit, I'd rather the tank just eat it. Simplifies matters, and lets me do more DPS before slime leechin happens.

Yeah you can pretty much block the stun by nulling the attack. What I meant by manawall on my badly worded post.
