Qarn drags but has fun bosses.

Pretty much this. I don't mind the AK/WP bosses, but KotL is just.... urgh.

Also, ~7 Phaors runs and still no key item. Starting to get burned out real fast.

While its true that Kotl bosses are horribly designed beside last one, the AKHM demon wall is kind of nobrainer DPS fitting most people taste because its the current fashion, beside that there is nothing interesting at all about it.

Did you face Northeast towards Garlemad, on Lightsday? Because if you didn't no wonder it didn't drop.

I've also heard dressing up like a standard Garlean soldier increases the drop rate dramatically.

Need at least 1 stamina related item to reach the end of the race in Choco Racing at sprint all the way. It's now 10 fucking races in a row without getting one. Even a pseudo stamina item like Sprint Shoes or Hero Tonic works. Even worse when you consider I have Choco Steal so an effective 2 chances per box most of the time.

I used to rock those and /imperialsalute people a lot. It's a fun set to go with.

Dungeon discussion making me wonder why the devs put so many resources into creating new dungeons with the sole purpose of being an XP/currency/story-tie-in location, and then only ever reusing it once down the road for.......higher iLvl XP/currency farming.

They design their locations to be modular. They could pump out sprawling versions of the zone to use for other deeds/events, like XI did with Assault in ToA.

Hell, the current XI team is very efficient in creating new battle content from existing assets the past two years, while in XIV we just get one new roflstomp alliance raid and then an addition to Coil every few months that probably cost a couple million to produce to just farm in under 2hrs once a week.

I don't know. Maybe shit'll change with the expansion since they're already doing a Normal/Hard mode Alexander, assuming it isn't the exact same dungeon twice with just a change of boss mechanics.

hell they could even instance some existing world maps for something akin to ffxi beseiged. break into groups somewhere like n than with multiple objectives to handle (defend, intercept, capture, whatever) and coordinate at the same time.

Decided to make a crafted earring for my alt's BRD cause I was tired of rocking Auroral.

Saved VIT III for the 5th slot cause it was the cheapest.

After blowing up the 27 VIT IIIs I'd had sitting on a retainer for god knows how long, buying ~10 last night and ~10 this morning (all blown up), each time I just bought all the VIT IIIs that were 3k or lower.

I go back a little while ago to try my luck again, price went from ~3k to ~15-18k, now more expensive than the ACC and DET IIIs I had melded in the previous slots.

I just wanted to make a mediocre earring that I didn't even really need for my goddamn alt, goddamnit.

for the NPC, hes always fucking you hard

I'd say farm the NPC, he's the most profitable in terms of MGP/win and he drops his non-rare cards more often than any other NPC I've noticed.

You have to take time out to run Prae but you can just challenge him whenever you have some downtime, from the processing plant tele he's not even that difficult to get to.

Idk how farming him for MGP compares to other methods (I haven't done any choco racing or the events in saucer) but for how easy he is to beat nearly 100% of the time it seems decent enough.

Took a break a few months ago and got the same e-mail. I already knew about the campaign because I still lurk some forums to keep up with what's going on but it was still a wtf moment.
