FFXIV Random Complaint Thread II: DPS can't count to potato

Since the PS4 automatically saves the last 15 minutes of your gameplay, and I've never been so astonished before, here you guys go.

To be honest, as a tank I don't like when a blm or whatever job pulls, but this guy has been too slow and it's not as if this boss is hard. So yeah he's a dick, or he was in a bad mood.

Had a bard Dainichi Nyorai (levi)deciding to use foe's purposely to pull aggro in a dungeon then them and their buddy Theria Liali (lamia) completely bash on the poor tank so i just stopped healing. They spammed their dreadwyrm weapons like it was some big deal. So obnoxious. Can't do duty finder anymore without trolls.

Yeah, he's a known troll on Levi. Shows off all his coil stuff all the time and it's annnooyyyying.

I don't think any tanks like it when others decide to pull for them. But for me, its more about the annoyance of having to chase mobs to get it off them. But really, you haven't tanked that much in DF if you don't run into these things at least once. I just suck it up and deal with it just to get it over, with rather than waste my time to "teach them a lesson" or whatever knuckleheads these days prefer to do.

In AoE's case, its not uncommon for BLM's to start-up thunder to squeeze out more DPS anyway. If he's doing it on the second boss, it means that the party flowed decently enough for him to do it up till now.

BRDs though, there are some unique snowflakes amongst them. Best one I had was one who pulled for me then kited them.

it's how the game tells you how much you would've won if you selected that lane, in this case upper right arrow.

As a tank, when I'm on DPS if the tank is slow to pull, you bet your ass I'm going to pull.

If the DPS has time to pull for you, you already are fucking up.

Pretty much what Sath said. If you're giving the DPS chance to pull then you're wasting everybodies time. Why on earth are tanks sat with their thumb up their ass in the first place unless someone is afk.

It's best when you do it in CT/ST/WoD and everyone throws a fit, even if you're one of the tanks.

Titan HM will be your wake-up call for learning AoE dodging and pattern memorization. If you can master him (and eventually EX) without getting touched you're good to handle anything else the game throws at you.

Been doing Shiva EX up to 92 diamond dusts trying to get the last horse mount I need for Kirin.

If the drop rate on this mount wasn't bad enough, why are about 75% of dps in this game absolutely horrible. I am usually 2nd or 3rd on dps as a Paladin when queuing for this in DF. I seen so many ~60 dps Ninjas that its like a new trend or something.

I have no idea why you'd ever do Extremes in DF on a non-JP data center. Dragging your scrotum through broken glass and rubbing alcohol sounds like it might be less painful.
