yeah but 60 DPS is really awfull. on the last partyfinder ex shiva i was outdding other DPS with just basic nin combo not useing any ability or ninjutsu... and i barely play DPS its like people do not understand basic combo order mechanics. Worst part is when im on sch on. sometimes i dont even bother raising such DPS in DF waste of mana and time they die instantly to stupid shit anyway.

my first shiva ex attempt was a 1 shot in df, and while that's certainly not the norm, you never know until the duty starts.

When they implement phase practicing, they should totally make it so you have to pass X mechanics whilst doing Y DPS to unlock the real fight! (Not that they would ever do this)

It should just be the last arrow that you moused over (or equivalent on PS#), but sometimes it'll just randomly select one.

Yeah, that's /incredibly/ bad. Melee DPS lose a lot of uptime in that fight, but even if you spend a lot of the fight in Staff phase or facedown, you should be well over that point. And you see it a lot. There's groups that I've had to holy spam til <1k MP just to get through the add phase, even with one or two Echo buffs. Or even hit the Enrage, which is just embarrassing. It's one thing to wipe once cause folk miss the Glass Dance cue, but

On the other hand, do see some decent groups, or even amazing individual DPS. Best BRD I've ever seen was a Taru that pretty much carried a group where one healer and three of the DPS were new.

Aha, that's what confused the hell out of me because I didn't deliberately mouse over any other rows and it doesn't go away when you're no longer mousing over it.

Eh, there's a good few fights that you don't want to start when one of the tanks is busy swapping accessories or handling an infant. Yes, is everyone was on the ball and paying attention it costs you an extra five or six minutes a run, but I've yet to get through a WoD run without someone blowing themselves up on Five-Headed Dragon's Heat Wave, so we're not exactly talking a perfect case.

we had a NA tank today in labyrinth

he didnt wait, just pull when everyone is there, which is fine, and then my party's 2 WHM died to misplaced tail drives. They returned. and the tank pull immediately w/o waiting, thats just went from fine to dumb

to tanks out there who likes to pull waiting saying anything: it is fine. but just at least press M to make sure everyone is there

Which is not surprising unfortunately. A WAR parsing over 150 is incredibly rare in Towers or DF.

Maybe has something to do with the default controller lay out, that's my only guess for how long most tanks parse.

I don't know who I pissed off tonight but a 25 min WP Hard followed by a 40 min Keeper of the Lake completely killed my desire to cap off Poe. Which i don't normally care about but I was making an effort to do so tonight!

Fuck this shit, I'd rather go run myself into the ground on the treadmill than do another one of those and I was trying to avoid that.

After reading more about the classes, I think I want to play all the new jobs. This makes figuring out who's going what in our raid group even harder to do.

I end up capping like the last 150 poes on monday night, expert roulette, i get KoTL like 80% of the time. Had one with a whm who admitted they were new, which is fine, had to pull smallish groups of trash because i noticed their healing was slow going. whm kept dying to AoE's or other mechnics on each boss, luckily it was near the end of the fight and we were able to finish it off. except on midgar they kept dying from AoE's on the 2nd dragon before the invincible bubble. we wiped 3 times before i just said im sorry but i dont have time for this it's 11pm and i want to get my poes capped, i have to kick you.

I kinda felt bad, but our whm replacement was able to stay alive, keep the group alive, and dps. it's amazing the capability gap between players in this game.

It's' amazing but if a player has no reason to try reaching the max potential of his job then it's'understandable.
I mean, a lot of players aren't doing coil and a lot haven't pass titan ex. Coil is a place where you actually learn to play.
