TIL parsing in DF dungeons is worth posting about, if I posted about every single time I forgot I left ACT on and went into a dungeon and had shit tier dps I'd probably have a post count greater than what he has, who the fuck cares about bads in a dungeon. Bring on the bads that you encounter in an actual 8 man group.

If you beat T13, good job, you can farm all your jobs to i130 + weapons galore. If not, fuck you, better slowly collect poetics every week.

As a casual, I really don't mind it, it will all be replaced once the expansion hits anyway, so let the hardcore have their fun in the sun. Besides, casuals can still get full 120 sets and 130 weapons from WoD/CT weekly, so we're not totally left out to dry. Maybe I can finally get that damn onion knight card my mule has.

I know this may be an isolated case since we are so close to the expansion, but I feel like there's no clear expectation. Farming WoD gear and save 3 week's worth of poetics for your weapon. So week 1 of CT gives you the tomestone you can't use until week 3. Week 2 of CT gives you the carbontwine for the weapon you get in week 3. Week 3 you finally have your i130 weapon, 50(?) extra poetics, and now you're +1 on Carbontwine/coat? Week 4 you now have 500 poetics and 2 upgrade items sitting in your inventory? Then week 5 is expansion?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I doubt SE mathed out the Twine to Poetics order. You are also assuming everyone is starting from 0. I'm sitting on 1400 (+450 this week) Poetics since I always stock up before a patch, I'm sure others do too. There is another batch of people that already have their 10 tokens saved up.


At some point they'll open up Poetics and you'll already have Twines/Coats saved up and ready to go. You'll be happy then.

Frankly disappointed since I was hoping

there was more than just a single trial

since yoshi said there was alot of content, thus the decision to split the patch into 2 chunks.

I guess being able to do coil nonstop counts now? Granted, the story progressed faster than previous patches, but this was held off because people would have done it all in a single sitting easily.
