I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say.

My post took your 11 weeks into account, thanks, the rest of it was open to everyone which Taint was gracious enough to answer. I have enough poetics saved up myself but for people starting at 0 (aka they spent everything last week for w/e reason) will have an extra coat until they get that bonus accessory and/or poetics get unlocked.

Was it just me or did anyone else find the new trail was unbeatable in DF? Even after explaining it people do not do their job. For DF people following directions or taking any kind of responsibility is too much for them. We had 1 guy who out of the blue decides he wants to click the 3rd crossbow for no reason before the boss wasn't even close to it there wiped us at 15% he wasn't even suppose to be touching them. They can't handle anything that isn't a mash buttons tank and spank.

After 4 hours of failing it in DF, had to get a PF group that was picky about who joined to win easily.

The biggest responsibilities has to fall on DPS for this. My first time we had derpimus maximuses for dps, with me on mnk. Tank and healer responsibilities are straightforward, so there wasn't any trouble there (other than tanks not draggin adds under boss). For DPS, all they can think of is "BIG MONSTER, ME STAB IT NOWZ" and completely ignore the important bertha + snare + dragonkiller. Unfortunately we timed out, because I had to deal with both snare eventually, but no one was on dragonkiller. And first 2 tries some knucklehead can't even shoot it correctly (Vishap wasn't even close to the impact spot...)

Joined a second DF, me and 2 other dps have done it before, and did most of the hard work while the tanks played with the adds.

So this new trial is pretty much a rehash of Odin where if you have shit DPS, you're going to suffer?

Part Odin, part Ultros. Relegating mechanics to DPS and also requiring passable DPS is a recipe for bad times in general populace.

Coupled with add management and some using some devices like cannons, snares, and something called a dragonkiller yes.

Yep, just finished it. I can see why this is going to suck for DFs considering they still think 2 tanks are needed for this...

Hopefully that will be the only hurdle I have before I finish the story and retire.

The bit after the trial where you have to find Tataru.....you step outside the office, and have to spend like 10s solid "interacting" with Tataru's desk before...............you confirm that she indeed is not there.

All of the MSQ is full of this bullshit but that moment in particular just drove the point home that they really just don't give a fuck.

I actually stocked up allied seals thinking maybe they'll add new things to the rewards lol, oh well.

Naaah, only for major patches in my experience. I can see 3.0 having loads of new stuff. Going to cap before then for sure. Till then, my seals go to ventures!

there was more than just a single trial

since yoshi said there was alot of content, thus the decision to split the patch into 2 chunks.

I guess being able to do coil nonstop counts now? Granted, the story progressed faster than previous patches, but this was held off because people would have done it all in a single sitting easily.

yea me too. i was hoping "ishgard defence" is something we havent seen before in 2.0

hell even if they bring in 1.0 hamlet defence for it, im fine since its still "new" in 2.0
