FFXIV Random Complaint Thread II: DPS can't count to potato

I had been in a queue for a while and decided to play some Triple Triad for a bit. Kept getting stuck in a draw -> sudden death loop -> queue popped -> no way of forfeiting Triple Triad matches...... Could not even manage to just lose intentionally against the NPC I was playing against in time. Why is there no forfeit option?

Haha god this is the worst. I played TT a fair bit while leveling ROG and I missed like four 30+ min DPS queues because of Ruhtwyda of the Three Hearts (ascension, sudden death).

Cap on poetics gets increased to 900 but expert still only give 40. Guess we're supposed to do more dungeons or coil then.

75 from Expert, 40 from Frontlines, and Like 30 or so from high level depending on what you get. Thats about 140~ or so a day if you do all three and nothing else. Will cap just doing that if you go every day.

Move enough to not get auto-afk kicked and hope no one noticed enough to vote kick.

Queues for FL can be garbage though, so there's that. If you don't mind sometimes waiting 45-60+ minutes for a game, it's a good way to get poetics.

FL is my favorite way to get Poetics. If you get a on Queue wave it can be really fun. But damn those 40+ min waits.

I saw a couple comments on reddit (I know) in the past week that they "initially avoided FFXIV because of its anime aesthetics".

Now, I've watched a good deal of anime. How the fuck is high fantasy in this game "anime aesthetics"? All I see is like, Lord of the Rings with kupos and guns.

Probably how everyone has a perfectly clean dirt-free waifu and that the halfling race looks like a bunch of kids with annoying high-pitched voices to accompany it. All varieties of hair colours probably doesn't help matters much.

So I haven't run dungeons in forever since I just capped through coil, but with 900 now and not really playing much this week I decided to try some expert roulette...

Is this fucking shit normal? Two different groups right after another. WHM left on first run, I dipped on 2nd cause 'lol we're premade' so my kick failed after wipe to first boss.

edit: I imagine it's probably even worse now than it has been in previous months due to people coming back in preparation for the expansion (or starting the game in an effort to be ready for it)
