FFXIV Random Complaint Thread II: DPS can't count to potato

I had a good couple of hours but it kicked me out the game and now I can't connect to the lobby. Pain in the ass because each attempt forces me to log back in.

It was so bad shortly before the disconnect that I couldn't even enter Coerthas west. If I tried to teleport there it would deny me due to congestion. SE had this bright idea of only giving certain servers multiple instances of field areas, I don't know WTF they were thinking.

Since I didn't notice any server issues all day I made the grave mistake of trying to switch to my mule to mail something.

I was FATE grinding before I was randomly kicked off, and so did my friend. So you would've been kicked off regardless.

Looks like the NA servers choked on a bone.

The EU data centre Chaos seems to be dead too. Still can't connect.

Connect to a bunch of other data centers and then go back to yours, seemed to work to get me back into Aether but it might have just been timing or something.

I tried that, didn't work. Tried again and it worked. No idea if it's co-incidence or not.

drk feels like it's gonna be pld 2.0 when it comes to TP issues. does it get any abilities to help out with this?

Now that I've been logged in long enough, next:

DRK's animations feel thoroughly.......ugh.....

Slow, not impactful, I can't even tell how and when I'm supposed to be hitting the mob with most of them, it just looks like I'm dancing with a large piece of lumber in my hands and also I'm really exhausted from just giving blood and need to lay down.

Also all menu text looks......spongy and weird with DX11 on and it's really distracting.

drk feels like it's gonna be pld 2.0 when it comes to TP issues. does it get any abilities to help out with this?

None. I think it's worse off than PLD to be honest.

Other than Blood weapon they don't WS any more often than PLD, SE was even nice enough to make Scourge 60 TP, unlike every other DoT in the game which has a higher than normal TP cost, not a lower one.
