Heh, it's more because people would be able to farm up older stuff far easier or already have stacks of it and thus invalidates the "work" needed to do x new recipes. Look at Unaspected vs Despected crystals.

I think he was more saying why they couldn't make the new mobs "silkworms" and make them drop "silkworm cocoons" and not switch crawler cocoon and silkworm cocoon.

Got stuck in Tam-Tara with a WHM wearing all of five pieces of gear who got out-cured by the BLM using Physick (who kept me up on two separate pulls where the WHM just AFK'd), all the while insisting AST was their main which was why they were "being bad."

For 4 days in a row now I have tried to get a kill on Bismark EX, I'm DRK. I end up with DPS (MNK/BRD/DRG today) who parse for 180-210. The worse part is that the PF says things such as "Kill for a friend, be exp in all phase or 1 fail = kick!" or "1 Fail = kick!"

Result, shell remain at 35% & everyone fall, or so the adds remain at 47-52% if we ever pass the Shell phase.

And i'm on Ragnarok, where people are wanna be badass PGMs.

Getting annoyed at chocobo auto flight camera. On my main, it resets to a fixed angle while auto flying,but on my alt, it doesn't, and I don't know the option that changes it. I know about the "Activate standard-type auto fly" option, but they both have it selected, so I'm not sure what else causes it.

I've run the aery many dozens of times (first when leveling WAR, again for NIN, and now for DRK) and I have seen a grand total of 1 left-side tank drop (hands).

I was resolved to get DRK from 55-57 on just Aery (no roulettes/etc) because I wanted the set for glamour, but I'm almost 57 now and not a fucking thing.

I literally got full left and right + shield (no weapon) when I ran Aery on PLD. I actually use it as glamour gear.
But I can't get the casting robe to save my life. It looks too awesome, so now I just have to run it synced down over and over now -.-

I went 50-60 on PLD spamming dungeons and not got a sword or shield from any of them.

The Seventh Sun and Svalin are easily the two best shield models in the game.

This community rage quits after 1 wipe in anything. Too fucking stuck up to get it right after a couple tries.

A piss easy raid with no rewards because I want muhstory. (since grinding a few tokens per week isn't really much of anything.)

Doing more damage than the DPS on WAR in dungeons was to be expected.

But now it's happening on DRK too.

Someone once said the additional skills 50-60 make the bads worse, I think they were right.
