Isn't Aery/Vault around 300k XP or am I remembering wrong? Those are around 20min each and it would take close to an hour in North than for 300k.

With food + FC exp buff, I've gotten around 320k~ without rested exp for most dungeons with the Vault and Library giving slightly more exp. 900k an hour doing dungeons sounds about right if your party isn't full of potatoes and you dungeon spam with a purpose. N. Than was around 500-550k an hour from lvl 50+.

Getting fancy new toys as you level then getting them taken away is just not fun, it's even less fun than level syncing down is normally.

This is the goddamn truth. I mean I generally have a very love/hate relationship with MNK but I just can't go lower than the level I am. It's amazing how terrible these jobs are the lower level they get, makes me wonder how I ever did 1-30. Ever.

literally had a healer arguing with me saying that two tanks can get all the meteors as 4 of them are about to land at the same time. somehow people fuck up that fight so majorly it's beyond comprehension.

Tho I do wish it gave tokens like how ravana and bis do I actually like the people in my static as people

Alexander is fun, it's quick.

The problem is, people still manage to wipe endlessly making the same mistakes and now apparently new "strategies" are accepted.

E.g Alexander 3, Turn 3..whatever, people want tanks to face the claw to party..it helps, they also want tanks to run into the tornado, get DoT, grab the tether..STAY in the tornado and get DoT ONTOP of explosion damage.

Yeah, I can see the logic behind it, but sadly good healers seem in short supply on Cuff/Arm. Burden I usually get told DRKs suck at main tanking only to watch said PLD drop like a sack of bricks to the buster.

Aside from hallowed ground I think drk might be superior to paladin on the fight as an MT because there isn't any blockable damage at all.

This flipping DRK just ruined my night, slowest LLR in a long time. It was somewhat bearable, he RP walked the entire dungeon, so it just took forever. Then on the last pull loses aggro to the MCH like immediately and runs around spamming his AoE aggro thing, then I tell him he needs to level up his GLD to 22 for provoke, and I get this. Yes I did D/C earlier during trash pulls.

I had an AST in DF A1 today who didn't use royal road or card buff anyone in the party more than once or twice the entire 2 or 3 tries we had to do because he was barely healing at all.
After one of the wipes a tank goes "it's ok let's just try again we can carry".
I left because I refused to work my ass off to carry a shit AST who doesn't know how to play their job. Sitting on full mp with dps dead, not lifting a finger even to raise while I do all the work. The number of shit healers I've been running into lately is staggering.

Honorable mention: WHM in A2 who "assigned" me a tank to heal and told me which one he'd heal. Worse than marking mobs, ffs.

Ugh I hate when they assign tanks. At least when I get paired with a second SCH I can somewhat understand that, but when it's a whm I want to slap him out of the instance

Well, as we're complaining on unintelligent people:

MSQ Roulette earned me a CM.

Everyone seems to wanna go fast, so we pull everything to the first boss. We all super DPS everything up, and all was rather well.

Until we got to the first set of cannons. We blow up everything no prob there, and while heading to the corridor on the way to the second set of cannons, the tank pulls the mobs (between 1st and 2nd set) back to the first set, and everyone else was already following him.

Other tank/healer start saying go to the second set.
He argues it's quicker to go back to the first set.
I said to our almighty DPS (as healer) why didn't none of them blow them up there and then.

I got ignored in favour of them arguing with the tank that this is much slower.

I get that + "DRK DPS is low" all the time too. These people think the OF is made of insightful players & this "DRK sucks" culture spread like plague, DRK isn't as good as it should be I agree, but its still a good tank and a skilled player will make it work well.

Got AP normal for high level and was quite shocked when the gnats didn't spawn at demon wall. Haven't done Ap since 2.1 can't believe people needed such an easy fight nerfed. Seriously the gnats were the only threatening part of that fight.
