Low-level Roulette: The Vault (Lv. 58)
High-level Roulette: Amdapor Keep (Normal, Lv. 50)

I did another low-level the other day and it put me in Dusk Vigil (Lv. 52). I was on my Machinist and was vote-kicked out of the group before the first boss for not using Hypercharge. A level 58 ability that I cannot use in a level 52 dungeon.
Randomly getting locked out of fishing and zoning doesn't do dick. Have to log out to be able to fish again. This is the 9th time today.
Nice job, fucktards.
Still catching up my MSQ (haven't even made it to 3.0 yet...), and something may happen in the future I guess, but the find out who the ivy was part is a super letdown when expecting a fight or something.
Fucking NIN in full STR without Invigorate in Aery.
Fucking healer letting me die on a normal pull with a NQ i115 weapon and full INT accessories in Aery.
Fucking BLM doing Transpose=>Blizzard3 as part of his normal rotation in Aery.
They needed to make Steps of Faith harder not easier (and I even got an in-progress to a group that had 45min on the timer in there, which means they failed once!).
A typical aery experience
Spoiler: show
It sounds like the bads who quit during 2.x have caught up and are deep into Heavensward now. It won't be long until expert roulette and DF alexander go from mixed bag to impossible, right when esoterics and the modified loot system will be implemented no less
As for steps of faith, it really should just be modified into a solo instance like Halatali was in the expansion, where the player uses the cannons, snares, and dragonkiller while super npcs take the role of holding the mobs and dpsing the dragon down, but only enough to where the player still needs to land 2/3 shots. But that sounds like work SE won't do, so I just immediately leave whenever it's Steps and go dick around on my alt for 30 minutes.
As for a complaint, leveling my 2nd job with quests leftover, way too much zoning between Hitherlands and Idyllshire.
Can we get tank gear without accuracy please this is fucking retarded thanks. Really hope the new crafted accessories don't have accuracy on them by default.
Yeah, considering the +5% Accuracy boost from the tank stances, the overload of accuracy seems really redundant.
I'll take that over the time when my i120ish PLD didn't even meet the ACC for Turn 5 before I i130'd it and properly spec'd.
But really, again, pointless checkbox stat that needs a change on how it operates.
The healer set from the Aery looks pretty cool but why is the skirt that's part of it clipping through the robe? :/
Yoshi stated in order to increase/"fix" game playability they got rid of a lot of physics, which increased clipping. I say it's just laziness and due to the shift in model design (to homogenize everything) because the shittiest korean and chinese sweatshop MMO doesn't have this much clipping at times. Essentially, everything was designed for male hyur in ARR then ported over to the other races and genders as the graphics lead stated during Beta phase 2. The thing is, if they kept the deformer from 1.0 era the clipping wouldn't be as bad. Yeah every casual coming over from farmville would need a better PC or pick up a PS3/PS4 but it's 2015, the physics and clipping shouldn't be worse than PSX era games.
armor clipping is not that bad. however i dont understand the massive hairclipping, especially with long hair... its bad. unless you are wearing tight stuff or a bodypaint as armor you will have issues
The hair clipping only bothers me because FFXIII/XIII-2/LR it's not terrible..at all and those games were built on SE's last cinematic engine (that XIV 1.0 used that it shouldn't have.)
SE does many things with their modeling that knocks on a lot of my pet peeves, being a 3D modeler myself. But whatever, it's their game.
Clipping is an easy problem to solve where there are like 5 outfits and 1 fucking hairstyle.
A tad different to XIV.
All caster gear being giant robes with giant skirts.
