FFXIV Random Complaint Thread II: DPS can't count to potato

I just noticed that literally every Esoteric DPS weapon has skill speed or spell speed on it.

Cute.

Now that weapons no longer have accuracy, our choices boil down to having skill/spell speed on 2 of the 3 remaining combinations. Can't have unique stats, too OP and hard to barance.

They are already plenty confused as to which primary stat matters on accessories. This is not exclusive to new players either.

I hate DF Warriors. Every single time he hit zerk. I would love it if SE made their pacification undispellable because I'm both lazy, and because WAR is crunk enough as it is in the right hands.

He ate a healthy-dose of vote kick after seeing it for the fifth time that dungeon run. None of us seemed to mind having to requeue after the fact since tanks never join 0/3 inprog.

At any rate, getting tired of delayed procs appearing on MCH. Wasting my non-ammo'd shots because it decides to show the marquee tile/floating text mid-castbar of the next skill. It should appear the immediately when the server verifies you got one, not at the tail-end of the skill animation. Animation priority BS in general but that's not getting fixed for at least another three years if they even bother.

LOL at the zerk macro. I don't use any. Just fucking use flash when pacification hits. Its 5 seconds. Your DPS ain't gonna drop 600 pts in 5 seconds.

And whenever I talk about new players I'm talking about those that are genuinely new and really don't know anything and need a bit of guidance. However, I've said it before, I'll say it again, you can't help those that don't want to be helped.

As for SE saying they can't do this and that but end up doing it anyway later, anyone here with decent experience in programming knows when a dev is being a bullshit liar. Just tossing this out there though - Perfect World Entertainment are good front runners for this. Those people have said they couldn't do so much stuff for that game(like name changes, etc) that they've since done so because game is really dying >_>. When things make you start shitting your pants you suddenly can do anything.

I just had one of these in my daily roulette. He had sound effects on everything also. The guy also had a second macro for a chat / sound effect countdown for the last three seconds to pacify.

That sounds like he's just being an asshole, which this game has too many of(despite what the OF people say lol). I've seen some raise macros with some rude crap put in it. Like really..? Really? Is that even necessary. .

I have learned my lesson on tanking in fate parties. You're going to have those unfortunate moments where you're doing your job by grabbing all mobs, but the only form of healing you're getting is from Eos/Selene. Aka I ate dirt. Not doing that again.

Although they all shat their pants when the other tanks stood there and let them die to VD(this may have been a prelude to the above..) and I came by and took over tanking and got heals from all fucking directions.

^ Tis why I only tank FATEs, especially bosses, with my personal healer or chocobo. Least whenever I'm on sarga.

Trying to get a bolt on my alt from A2 is very close to making me want to abandon my alt entirely.

I abandoned my alt close to finishing the MSQ on my main. Too much horseshit to wade through but I do sorta regret it cause it's even more annoying to gear multiple jobs since Eso gear is job locked.

Better than me. I abandoned my alt halfway through the HW MSQs.
