I got the Cavalry body to drop at the end of the run so there was at least that.
Complained about this a few days ago:
Came across this pic from a pre-expansion press thing today
Spoiler: show
THE GREEN AND WHITE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE GODDAMN RANGED SET!
Times like that it's probably just accidentally swapping filenames when they're marking them. Item #11567 uses...dat 7001. Item 11568 uses...dat 7000!
Should post on OF about it for a fancy 4 hour maintenance then post that you were the reason for it in general sections
Then we can all just laugh at the result.
I will never post on the OF.
I'd probably just get reported by some BRD that likes the black version and get banned immediately.
Lucky for you, someone brought it up already on the OF a month ago: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...orthodox-tunic
The tunic issue reminds me of when SE claimed they didn't fuck up the names for the Elder Staff and Omnirod (despite there being strong evidence they did) so even if acknowledge the slip up with the tunic, they probably won't change it.
2 complaints are the same ish subject
1) Look at some items to make gil on MB and saw draconian pots of int HQ selling at 38k (none up) . So I make like 20 of em and put them on AH for 38k.
1h after 20 more added for like 25k ...............
2) Why the fuck are people buying NQ drac potions when Xpots HQ are the cheaper and better?
2) they don't know better and don't tell them
I dunno for you but on Balmung mats sell for 15k and NQ pots sell for 7k each
And farming Furymint for NQ pots feels like a waste lol
Yeah, HQ X Pots skyrocketed on Sarga while everyone is undercutting each other into oblivion on draconian.
Pretty much my biggest complaint atm, synthing Draconians is a waste of time, really hope they turn it into a 3-for-1 synth pronto. 99% of the time it's cheaper to buy the HQs that people get from maps than to make them myself.
Holy shit rata i didn't realize you were on balmung lol
He is?
Go /tell this guy for me that he's a fucking pussy.
"Memories Lost" (MCH)
Got into AV, didn't even give the party a chance and DC'd. I do not think it's accidental lol. I hate people like this. The fact the DRG, whom was new, healer, and myself killed the Toad and the first 3 mobs rather quickly was testament that this party would've been successful (I didn't realise the guy had disappeared until he fell off the party list).
The usual failure of that dungeon is:
New tanks not knowing how to pull/tank the mobs, and also tank the 2nd boss (Just provoke the moment Broclops changes targets, land an enmity combo)
New healers not knowing how to heal/eat fruit properly on the first boss.
New DPS not knowing how to eat fruit/damage enough.
A petty thing I know, but give it a fucking chance rather than pussy out, or don't do low level roulette in the first place. I didn't want to boot him at all throughout most of the run as punishment, but I suspect we'd run short on DPS/mana on the first boss so better to get the party rolling.
I'm not saying he was justified in pulling the plug, but AV is pretty much the worst leveling dungeon I've had the displeasure of being exposed to.
I get what you mean.
From the guys that want full clear to the ones that aren't too well at their class it's rather difficult. But pull in small chunks and explain things a little and unless all 4 of you are crap then it is rather a pleasurable dungeon, quick too I might add.
Just a bit of helpfulness as an initial attempt and if that don't work because people are too numpty to learn/improve then sure abandon ship.
I ran AV only once, just after release. We got to Coincounter and couldn't get passed him. I'm not sure if it was me as the healer, or the tank, or simply too little damage coming too slowly, but we timed out attempting it multiple times. Since then I've been dreading having to do that dungeon again.
I felt pretty incompetent as a healer after that, despite not having any more problems through the rest of the content I did. Basically through creating a relic before I lost interest and time to play.
