The best part of your spam posts might be the mix of NQ trash left side and Dreadwyrm/Ironworks right side gear you're botting SMN/SCH to 60 in.
Also congrats on your Turn 13 clear!
WoD Atomos had an enrage? :O
It was something like if everyone got knocked off and couldn't get up (because of idiots not hitting the glowing circle to initiate the jump pad) it'd wipe the group in some manner.
Will be fun to dick about with whenever they allow undersized alliance content.
the more you know
Whenever I hear people talking about what they do with the 5th and 6th retainers or whatever I realize SE is never, ever going to expand our inventory or offer sufficient alternative storage.
They'll hear our wishes and add a glamor wardrobe so we don't have to hold onto 100 pieces of glamor.
Spoiler: show
i pay for all those retainers. because i am a digital hoarder. Legacy of my XI days when that was how I made money: save EVERYTHING, sell stacks when they completed.
Also because glamors.
Yep
"You feel a chill down your spine"
The atomos starts spazzing out and blow up. It actually looks pretty cool despite being a derp check. Doglady and Xande's enrage is just their Ancient Quaga/Flare thing one shots you.
PS2 limitations or else they would have added much more slotsMeanwhile over in FFXIV land...
"The servers would crash."
Use my god damn PC as a server since it sounds like that would be a far superior upgrade :l
Just a shame XI still has a capped dial-up friendly send/receive rate, which means you get to enjoy seeing this inventory icon a lot whenever you zone.
But yeah, is a bit silly how much QoL stuff they've added to it in the past year despite still supporting PS2. It has visible AoE coverage on subtargets, visible party buffs, ground-targets for GEO, and focus-targets now. Buff timers next update.
This is working as intended, the way I see it Yoshida wanted to give us a way of avoiding big hits by poorly implenting this. There are some fight where it is worth using (the 1st boss of fractal come to mind) when he does his double swordslashing attack, you'll either parry or have a chance at avoiding a few hits giving your healer some opportunity to DPS more, another example could be A1 normal (Faust adds.) It clearly seems to be a crowd avoiding tool too, used when you're comfortable with MPs.
