during one of my many vault runs as blm, we had a whm that died on the first boss and caused us to wipe, then died on the second boss, luckily we were able to kill it before he chewed the tank down. so i ask, "can you stop dying on every boss?" dont get any response.

last boss, even i dodge everything, still going to die from aoe damage, whm doesnt heal me, i ask for a regen or something, no response, he doesnt raise me. then right at the end he says "can you stop dying every boss, asshole?"

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? hes on my server too, i need to think of a way to harass him

I am impressed that he managed to get all the way to lv58 with so few upgrades, but I guess if he sucks that bad at his job, he probably FATE grinded instead of running dungeons.

Yep ran into him on DF in 2 dungeons. He dies every single time and tries to blame everyone else. This is why I take literally no one seriously from Balmung when I run into them on DF. I always take a quick look to see if they're from there or not. Wish I kept this video on my channel but I had one where this WHM was RPing that he was a 'novice' healer in the Library.

That's cool, but even per game storyline, your noviceness ends the second you become a level 30 WHM.

I guess the two horrible tanks I had in Chrysalis yesterday were from balmung. They caused every wipe on all 4 attempts. They were both fighting for aggro, but none of them were geared well and would die before the void spawn, leaving me or whoever else was the #3 on the list to tank Nab. Also it says something if a healer pulls aggro while both of them are still alive. And for icing on the cake. Provoke is only GLA 22.

But that's what happens with flock servers. You get more morons than decent people.

Balmung is an RP server, so we tease them for being RPtards. It just so happens that they're trash at the game too.

Oh no, Sarga has its share of...challenged people but Balmung takes the cake. In Sarga I can at least clear some content if I chose to PF it but on Balmung it was amazing if you could get past a first boss on any content at times because the RPers aside..they spent too much time making pretty characters and not enough time learning the game.

Not like i200 is going to save you from all the derp deaths you'll be seeing for hours and hours in the first two minutes of the fight anyways. May as well get that out of the way now instead of later when the DPS check is 'slightly' lessened with more gear.

Yeah that's some serious lack of confidence in your group... fight is quite a lot of learning, no reason not to get in there now and start progressing. If you actually make it to the end of the fight cleanly and are hitting enrage at a % that seems unreasonable to clear then waiting for better gear isn't necessarily an awful idea (although I'm of the opinion people should just git gud), but straight up just not bothering is pretty ridiculous imo, unless the entire group agrees with it for whatever reason I'd be looking to replace the "leader" pretty swiftly.

People from Cactuar are the worst for me. At least on Sarg there's some key words tricky phrases the bad people usually use when setting up a PFer. Claiming a specific loot/horse, any phrasing similiar know 'no bads please'.

I suppose an occasional /tell to him to stop dying would be a nice reminder.

Had Levi story for roulette, I went as WHM. There was a MCH in the party who shot himself to death by attacking the head. I intentionally let him die, wondering if he would figure things out for himself. He obviously didn't, so I was nice enough to tell him to attack the tail.
