Been healing since 2.0 Beta. Ran into many tanks who like to run full STR gear, pull all the mobs in the area and then bitch when they die or rage quit. Well gee, if you wanted to do big pulls ya should've put on some VIT gear. Then maybe your ass wouldn't be eating dirt. It didn't help when DRKs were introduced. DRKs in full STR right side annoys the ever loving shit out of me. Makes me waste more MP since they can't take a hit.
VIT impacts damage taken, Bis EX in the roulette, healers shouldn't have to DPS
All of your posts have been diamonds so far, let me tell you
I'll take your sarcasm with a grain of salt friend. Like I said before if a Healer has to DPS because the DPS themselves aren't up to snuff. Then it's a problem. I have no real issue DPSing since I had to do it for the first phase of T12 on Scholar, but since Astrologian has been released and they're on the bottom of the totem pole for healer DPS. I'm completely fine with that.
Hey guys, I've been healing since 1.0 early access. I obviously am the best judge for this.
Get out.
Considering XIV is purely a numbers game more HP overall means better survival when they don't know how to tank, so there's some derpsafe built into being full vit, kinda like trash pulls in Alex 2 I seen a DRk in full STR with only 12k hp get floored even with Shadowskin versus my lazyass being in my vit setup (since I got my AS1-3 drops) and having 22k hp with no CDs used still surviving so eh.
It still comes down to if the tank knows wtf they're doing and if the healer can actually heal. I think the overall problem just comes down to: Full STR tanks tend to be shit 99% of the time lol thus why people hate em.
When I do my exp roulette on PLD, and i decide to do big pulls, i just wear full VIT gear because I'm just going to be flash spamming, and STR acc. aren't really going to make much of a difference. I'll pop my STR acc on for the bosses though.
