I dunno have you?
cuz mine work
this gorgimeria looks way more fun

wtf is this new trend with tanks that are popping sprint when they pull and bitch when everyone else is tanking(better) than them??
Funny you say that, I literally just sprinted by accident gathering up the last pull in Neverreap. I told my party it was my cat... I'm not sure they believed me.
Yes I've seen some unruly healers/DPS messing things up for tanks. Experienced it myself too on my WAR.
I've yet to tank something like Midgardsormr, but it's going to be hard to break my habit of abusing sprint to get out of AoEs when healing it.
lol, GLA was my 1st job, I got it to Lv35 (became PLD at 30 np) while a friend started MRD and got it to 34 or something & became WAR. One day we both did a fate together & I saw the WAR gameplay, said screw it & went to unlock MRD. Never looked back at PLD since then.
Honestly, in the DF you see people who think they're terminator just because they're iLv185+, they don't give 2 damns about focusing on the target you pull, they'd rather go on the aggroing ones of the pack(s) following the target you just Tomahawk'd/Lobed/Unmended cause its more fun right?
And in between you have these idiotic healers who pop a regen spell on you during your pulls just to add more fun to it. I don't do it, but I can understand why someone would want to be as far as the others party members during a pull.
Even though people are against it, I still let unruly people die. DPS want to pull ahead of me? I guess you wanted to tank. Healer only wants to DPS and not heal? I guess I'll increase my pulls so when I die everyone else ends up dying and I get blamed for it even though DRK has no direct healing (and no, 2.4k SE's and trying to abuse Abyssal Drains as a last resort (heh) won't outpace the damage you're getting in large pulls.)
I had an AST one time that kept reapplying his regen spell every time I turned it off, before pulling. He must have been a masochist or something.
So if you pull a smaller pack and the healer stays in Cleric (because there's no need to even cast cures at that point) you just go ahead and pull more?
As a healer I heal only when necessary and if it's not needed what else am i supposed to do? Wait for the tank's HP to drop?
Even with larger pulls you should pop some CDs to let healers do some damage before going into heal mode. (at the very least you should be lasting long enough to let SCHs Bane shit and AST/WHMs cast a few Gravity/Holy)
yeah, that seemed odd to me as well.
The DF pretty much lead us to start acting odd & thinking about weird ways on how to MPK the party. Honestly, its ok for people to have it easy & just be willing to do a basic DPS job, but when these people just go out of their way to make our job complicated for the sake of 20 secs, they just deserve to tank what they pulled & get K.O'd by it.
wasn't talking about antsy dps. talking about healers dpsing.
Real healer keep everyone at 100% HP then overheals
Fair enough, but Destinye talked about a whole context while 2~3 people took it appart to highlight something. His/Her point being: Tank should be left alone to do the pulling/placement management because they're the only one who know when its the best time for them to pull and healers should be focusing on what need to be done at the right time.
If a WAR/DRK just dropped their tank stance just to go DPS at the wrong time because they feel like it, the party would start moaning (especialy the healer) and the tank would be labeled as "bad."
Thats assuming the DPS are bads who can't DPS & dodge an orange circle, which happen way to often even today. So practicaly your sarcasm could apply XD
