It's all really based on the latency of that knockback being applied to you with regards to cheesing it via the jump-in method (and being near the gate since it's less distance). And that brings us back to my usual complaint about this game's retarded animation priority system.

For the timing on cheesing to work, someone needs to have been near the center for the knockback, and you need to have been at the wall already. This gives you less time before you can start moving, and more time to get back on while that other person flies a further distance back.

Leveling WHM to 60 and I swear I can feel brain liquefying from the sheer boredom.

Then I noticed WHM doesn't even get Aero 3 until 58 uuuuuuuggggggggggghhhhhh.

Can I just level SCH again and put the exp into WHM or something.

Holy more. If your tank isn't sweating because you're leaving him low while you throw rocks you're doing it wrong.

Sounds like you need some "extra entertainment." Go pull the next pack about halfway through the current one. After that, cast regen on the tank before the next pull. Divine seal it if you can. On bosses, be sure to stand in melee range so you can auto-attack.

    Take plenty of screenshots too.

I genuinely do 2/3 of those things. AA bosses that don't have radial attacks that will make me move(and interrupt a cast), and keep regen on the tank for pulls so I take the first couple hits(standing with them, obv) and get to delay healing that much longer

It's only 1-2 less buttons than other casters' rinse-repeat GCDs, albeit that's all it takes to be repetitive. Just that it also doesn't have a lot of superfluous-at-best, useless-at-worst oGCDs also. Like some other jobs.

Pretty much. In fact I would say SCH has even less buttons to push than WHM since Eos can solo heal most dungeons.

    SCH:

Bio2MiasmaBio-Bane, ShadowFlare, Miasma2, Aero each mob

(in practice I like to use Swift+Shadow Flare first when there's no question on where the tank is gonna settle the mobs since the slow offers some extra mitigation)

By the time you're done with the Aeros you're starting to reapply Bios on individual mobs, it's not 3 spells and repeat, you also have to move for Miasma II, place Shadow Flare appropriately, Energy Drain to use when you have stacks to spare, Rouse + pet skills to activate....

edit: also sometimes healing when needed*

Since SCH doesn't have to heal in most dungeons unless Eos can't keep up, it's somewhat unfair to only speak of dps rotations. WHM doesn't have the luxury of staying in Cleric Stance 24/7, which demands them to stance dance. If one only cares about doing dps as a healer then yes, SCH has the most buttons, but WHM has to handle both without the assistance of a pet. I'm not going to lie and say Holy/Stones doesn't over-centralize WHM's rotations but there's a lot of management going on in-between.

At level 50, WHM starts with divine seal > regen on tank, Cleric Stance, then Holy once, apply Aero II on a mob to allow the stun duration to go through, then apply Holy two more times before using Shroud of Saints, then cast Holy again (Fluid Aura if applicable) before turning off Cleric Stance and reapplying Regen on the tank. When mobs drop down to three or less, you focus more on using Aeros and Stone II.

At Level 60, WHM starts with Divine Seal > Regen on tank, Asylum > Cleric Stance > Holy > Aero III > Holy > Holy(Assize) > Holy. If Shroud of Saints is up, use it and apply single target dots and heal when nessecary. If Shroud of Saints is down, you cannot keep up the Holy spam as the mp cost is too much. This is only not the case if the mobs are already close to death, or you feel like blowing a Benediction or Tetra.

On fairly large pulls, I do Swiftcast Holy to immediately stop the incoming damage on the tank. I save Presence of Mind for boss fights to put on Aero III/Aero II quickly and start stoning.

If you're one of these people who show up in my frontlines roulette.. e.g. people who have macros with calls they spam repeatedly in every frontlines because you're a self proclaimed master tactician ("GET THE NODE!!! <se.1>" "FALL BACK TO THE CAVES!!! <se.1>")/you yell at the team for being "retarded" every time one tiny thing goes wrong/you say things like "omg gg i always get teamed with potatoes QQ" - I hate you. Frontlines is a huge let down in terms of actual pvp content, and I still think Wolves Den was much better until queues became non-existant.

I have 3.8k matches played in Wolves Den from 2.1 alone, but after the queues died when 2.2 hit I never went back. I've never had fun in frontlines, mainly because I think it's boring and relying on 23 other people to come together and have a cohesive game plan usually seems to backfire. The only time I ever had fun doing frontlines was when 8 of us from the FC would queue together and could control something back in 2.X. But because of queue times, we can't do that anymore.

Hoping for 2 things: 1) Wolves Den leaderboards like they've hinted it with a ranking season so it generates interest or 2) CTF for Frontlines because c'mon.. That's what frontlines has needed since day 1.

Before the PvP 3-strike DF penalty, we had fun doing premades of 2 parties (getting 3 in the same instance was nearly impossible). You could still get fucked over by that one party of randoms but you have a lot more control over what's going on. The whole thing of premade alliances being a CT-only thing was a huge middle finger. Putting in the ducker penalty for PvP was also kind of disappointing but we're probably part of the reason it's in. I just don't think it was necessary once they started letting join-in-progress work before the gates opened.

The fact that there's not really a way to do coordinated PvP easily even on your same server is just disappointing by itself. I remember a few occasions where I'd see like a familiar name from BG on enemy teams and be like oh that was cool I (killed/got killed by) Rocl. It's a really unfortunate self-perpetuating mentality: everybody just zergs and facerolls Frontline because everyone else does. Coordination doesn't really work unless everyone is on board, especially in Seize where all it takes is 1-2 illiterate people to feed kills.

I felt like in Wolves Den, I could queue in and be like: "Okay, X and Y zerg the healer, if he keeps living, look for when I CC the BLM and go ham on him."

Since it was only 4 people would could actually at least try to work on strats...
