The sad thing is that if it was an area pity-heal like in FF6 I'm sure you could find a legitimate use for it.

The prices sound right I guess, the issue is that Forager/Artisan sells slow because most are smart enough to buy the Sealant (or diligent enough to have generated it) and have it made instead of buying straight from MB. Few seem to be that lazy that they just buy it.
On Balmung the sealants are ~200k and the Mastercrafts are another 700-800k. I bought my body/legs for 1.5M each because it was basically the same price as tipping a 4* crafter and no chance of blowing it up/NQing.
Must be a JP server thing, or I'm not a well-known crafter (not that I advertise).
I can't believe its still a thing. Had a tank "help" dps down arms during sastasha HM, which is negligible enough considering you force arms/tentacles to retreat sometimes if you push fast enough. Pull hate because hes flailing around in the back chasing arms. Tells me to kill arms.
I mean I could go dps arms down... with the other dps... and let the battle take 10 minute long.
But I don't think I want to do that again. Ever. Letting the other guy take that duty while I make this fight take actually less than 3-4 min.
I literally cannot clear T7 or 8 in any farm groups. Every single one I've joined in the past 4 days (excluding one run!) has ended in nothing but wipes and almost immediate disbands. People just fuck up voices and shrieks constantly, "accidentally" kill petrified renauds, downright ignore adds and tunnel vision the boss or fuck up every single tower push and ballistic missile in turn 8. I've pretty much given up on 7 at this point so I figured I'd try a group on 8 again today since it can't be much worse, but it started off with this shit (and yes, I've seen groups mark the towers in different ways, regardless of whether this is a "standard" set up):
Spoiler: show
And then when someone inevitably fucks up missiles, they type gg as if they weren't the fucking one at fault:
All the while the God damn dragoon is disconnecting constantly (he wiped us the first time by not stacking to hit a damn rear attack a mile away from the group during ballistic missiles), not pushing his tower (luckily the nerf means I could just do it) and getting killed by eating multiple mines when they pop. I feel like I need to just stick to DF or "progression/clear" groups rather than farm ones, because every single one is fucking terrible. The shitty part is my sleeping pattern means I don't get much time to play during NA prime time right now, so it's a complete pain in the ass to even get these groups and they're all pitiful. Fuck.
Already a useless three peat drop for my coil group
DRG hands 3/4 weeks with no DRG in raid. 3.0 foreshadowing is real.
@Kiarax You have the WORST luck with parties in this game. Remind me to immediately disband should we ever cross paths ;D
I can't help but notice that doesn't say "conclusion." Grumble grumble.Originally Posted by Live Letter 59

Even with T7 I have definitely had some bad groups.
I have like a 75% success rate with T7, I haven't tried T8 yet, I need to look what to do for T8 first.
Arbitrary definitions such as "left" and "right" "north" and "south" are too subjective
the best part was when i asked who is pushing which towers and was met with uncomfortable silence... like I am asking something totally out of the blue... so i thought ok maybe a group lacked 1-2 persons and they went via DF, maybe they push the towers themself (i was on sch btw).
Then I asked who are the 3 persons takeing care of ballistics... and was met again with uncomfortable silence, so i assumed that i should allways move out they have assigned the people inside their group. Too much assumptions for DF.
I joined a friend's T8 learning party during the weekend. It seems like the current fad now is for ST and 1 DPS to handle all tower mechanics. Everyone else please just stand still (unless bard). Ballistic is up to healers and ST. When we eventually cleared it, we did it with 4 melees, 1 monk 3 nins. Two of the nins were my friends on sub jobs and they basically took over both the bard and ST's position. Didn't parse but it's fair to say they outputted the most DPS too. We almost managed to skip w4 whereas previously skipping w5 was hit or miss.
