i havent had mounted music on in forever. i dont mind zone music because its generally pretty good but theres a limit to how often i can listen to the stupid chocobo theme
At least it's not the 1.X chocobo music with trumpets a blaring, and it wasn't optional back then.
Anyhow, RMT spamming shit in towns again. Not remotely as bad as the non-stop /shout that would drown out the entire chat during 2.0/2.1 fortunately.
Still no fucking relic til 3.15 uggggggggggggggggggggggh.
Not sure if this is a complaint or praise. Depends if it's still fucking ass to pentameld.
But crafting is dead for sure. RIP.
The questions asked and the answers given are only telling me 3.1 will fail..
Let's not forget, the gear from 3.2 on that only 4 people will only be able to make will be stronger!
This could be potentially huge. This also opens up a lot of expansion if they do it right. Materia based set bonuses. Materia crafting by each crafting class with an option to create hybrid materia. If they prevent overmelding on non crafted gear this would do the game a ton of good in the long term. It would create some pretty nice markets for crafters and spiritbonders.
You can only attach 1 Vitality materia to your accessories.
BETTER MAKE IT COUNT.
Crafting will dead until 3.2 hits. Then everyone and their mother will be racing to catch up with red crafting tomes uncapped (If they follow anything like tomestone progression).
If crafting lets me make raid-progression equivalent gear (i.e. i200 right now) I will be completely happy and want to play catch up on crafting.
If crafting lets me make normal-raid equivalent gear (i190) I'll accept it, and probably not be able to sell gear besides anything but glamour and people who want to skip the Normal-raid level gearing progression.
Yes, but on the other hand this limits options for HP checks on AoE raid damage. So now they'll know there's a cap mages can hit with VIT V materia melded on all of their i210 accessories.
Or other words, it takes out an aspect of gearing they didn't realize until after 2.4 out of the equation entirely. Makes the raid designer's job easier when you know you don't have to try to cockblock the raid for using hybrid accessories and limit accessories to a pitiful ilv (i150) whereas you'd have i190 stuff going into your first week of savage raiding.
These changes are making some 3.0 crafting decisions make sense. I just wish this change happened in 3.0 rather than waiting the 5 months for 3.1.
relic delay killed me basically
we may not even have that much relic quest anymore, unlike 2.0 series. this delay, and bring it in 3.15 means it can be only 1 time, and then wait again in 3.3.... i really liked how relic become 100 > 110 > 115 back then in a x.1 series
they did say from here on, patches will never be delayed again tho, so thats prolly good news that they finally bring back the pace....
Collected all my parts for a full 3rd set of Alex gear (currently own tank/healing sets)
Can't decide what to pick next... they're all ugly anyway but... I don't play NIN but the assassin's creed lookalike hood seems nice...
Just grab whatever at random, it's getting opened up in 3.1 in a couple weeks so we can i190 all our jobs.
yeh I might pick up the brd/mch set i think... i no longer enjoy playing melee jobs besides tanking.
I don't think I want to farm Alex again after... I guess it's good to accumulate for my tank mounts, but Void ark should be the standard farm next I'd think. But the parts system is somewhat horrid and good at the same time, I can't decide what to feel.
Bro, the Gordian Gown of Casting is probably the best looking Body-slot since Second Coil's High Allagan pieces for tanks and healers. Minus the sleeves past the elbow (which are covered up by pretty much every "heavy armor" gauntlet), it literally would be at home as a PLD piece.
I am forever salty about this inability to glamor it outside of healer-classes; fuck you Yoshida.
I'll go try that on at home tonight. I do have SMN levelled (but not geared), and BLM at 56 to be my next 60. If I like it enough I'll just go with the caster set.
I always thought people hated the armor haha!
Personally, I like the Maiming/Striking sets. They look vaguely Imperial to me.
I haven't done alex normal in weeks, though. I loathe the loot system and every time I did a run w/o a drop it made me insanely angry so I just stopped doing it. Already had full healing + all rings, so its whatever.
