They really need to add open slots. Tank/DPS/Healer spots that fill based on demand.

The tank gear is pretty solid especially since it can be used across 3 jobs.

Yes it is solid, I try to get it for my WAR as I still have some i190 left side, wasn't very lucky with Diadem

I was wondering with the relic adjustments what did they do to make it easier? More specifically I'm wondering what they did to the books because those were the devil. I don't care about the instances but it's the fact that you had to kill 100+ mobs per book and do fates did they tune that down or is it a pain in the ass still?

Books are 30 (10 sets of 3) mobs total now, but no other changes I believe.

I haven't done any of the books myself since the changes, so I don't know.
I'd assume you can only have one book at a time though, as it'd be too convenient otherwise.

I ended up waiting so long that after 1h20, I needed to go to the loo, where it poped & made me miss it. Decided to go on lolMCH & queue was instant, at least I got a tank drop cause it droped twice

Didn't have a wife in my FFXI days, but have one now. Wife aggro is so real sometimes.

I just got out of cutter's cry with the worst tank I ever had lol. He was french though(really hate to rag on this guy, given what happened ever there) so there was nothing I can tell him that he'd understand. He only did BB combo, didn't have defiance on, so it's aggro ping pong. Funny this is, the DPS was also french and talking to the tank trying to get him to do his job properly(all I wanted for him to do was overpower..). The DPS had it and left. Another DPS comes in, also french and boy oh boy, he gave the tank a hard time the whole run hehe. We got through it though. I was calm about it because frankly no other healer would have put up with him and the DPS was good enough that I saw no real reason to bail, and it was easy keeping us alive. Even though I was being beat on by everything in there.

I wish MTs for A3 would use any of the Tank Knockback negation tools that all 3 Tanks have for Wash Away, I can sorta' see WAR/DRK not seeing the utility of Holm/Plunge but when you get to Level 60 on PLD I would think you'd at least have wondered what that button you have does.

I don't understand how it's possible to have an avergae party ilevel of 200 and still see shit like all the jumpsi n A1 or more than 1 hand/ad phase in A4, whatever.

i honestly forget that i have tempered will, more often than not. it's always had brief moments of usefulness but never vital importance; no consequences to not using it as long as youre still doing mechanics.

HW Hunt mobs not dropping books directly.

Hunts are pretty dull but getting a book always made the grind better. Also with the addition of Diedem they should have made the hunt grind easier rather than harder.

I guess it's to be expected playing on an EU server and all. I'm kinda liking these french parties Im getting. Healer is ripping into the poor DRG for doing 500 dps(going by the text at least) and the SMN told him she was doing 600. Im here thinking "does it really matter now..?" And I needed to help both DPS with the Remedy bombs. Now that was..fun. Cause ya know, I got a pissed off boss following me around. 3 wipes lol.

On healer, I embarked in the longest fractal run I ever had(35 minutes). There weren't any deaths, but I was trying to figure out why a PLD in gordias gear was so hard to heal..even with Asylum, Medica II, regen up.. then I saw she wasn't using CDs at all. The DRG and BRD were new to fractal.

There was a hotfix patch, and the DF is kind of.........important.
