You can "uncover" chests yeah, but nothing dropped perse.

Why not make gathering drop chests? make it based on, say, your gathering skill, with the chance to get a higher tier chest based on perception. finish a node, chest spawns.

Gathering skill has been a joke for 5 months and the joke continues on into Diadem. If we can call 3.0 the comedy club circuit, then Diadem is the Comedy Central Presents.

While I'm at it, what the fuck happened to Dust Bunny in 3.1? Patch notes would seem to indicate that scrubs like me with no zodiac have lost the ability to buy them. Not that it's really a complaint, I have a retainer full of them and they're going for 36k.

Normally I don't bitch much about XIV but good god Void Ark, just trying to get alt healer gear. This is the first week I've gone past Tuesday and I'm sure I won't be doing that again any time soon. Tuesday runs have been mostly fine. Tonight first run starts ok-ish, 1 wipe to Cuchulainn but win on next go so fine. Next comes 3 wipes to Echidna. In the 2 weeks prior I've done 11 VA runs to get drops and never seen a single wipe to Echidna, over all this was one of the worst raid experiences I've had yet. Decide to try again after because it cant be that bad again right? Well fine through Cetus, win healer gloves from that (thank you jeebus), get to next room and get alliance wipe from no one killing knots. Nope nope nope. Usually I'd feel guilty grabbing loot and bailing but not tonight, so bad.

I can't count how many times I had complete fail CT-chain runs. 3 wipes? That's nothing.

I actually have lagged in RavEx and felt horrible about it, because it's a bad excuse, however in some people's defense, it does happen. When it does happen, it's on my end, due to either a shit laptop or a shit connection, depending on where I'm playing.

Good lord, the very first time I was doing RavEx in PF my laptop was melting and I saw every attack at least 10 seconds after they had landed.

I have no prob doing (for example) Titan mechanics consistently but when there's lag between you and the server you just literally can't get out of shit. Like, you move, you see yourself move, and you get hit anyway. It's so rage-inducing and unfortunate. I've had to drop some Titan farms in the past because my shit just wasn't working. It's a totally valid reason, it's just impossible to tell if someone who's playing poorly is actually having that problem or just using it as an excuse to cover up their fuckups. Thankfully I haven't had that problem recently.

What has happened to queues this week... leveling roulette was always pretty meh on dps but now it's just horrible. Over 45mins every time or it just doesn't happen at all because I run out of time to wait. o_o

Hm..I still think it's because there's not actually that many people bothering to play, holiday aside, and those that are have absolutely no reason to run most of the content thanks to derpadem and void ark.
