Aside from mentioning Void Ark, he didn't mention DF at all. He simply said he went do content that has 2 tanks because he can't work with other tanks.

If he had said he can't work with WAR wannabeprincess OTs wearing all VIT gear, that would have been understandable. However, he chose to make a blanket statement because he literally just can't even.

Not judging, just honestly trying to shake him out of his funk. It's disappointing to see someone who feels so discouraged at failure that they refuse to even try.
I mean come on, it's a game. Wiping happens and some days it will be worse than others, but the trick is to accept it gracefully and keep powering forward.

It's a multiplayer game, you're eventually going to have to deal with others and the better you do it the more fun you'll have. I don't understand the mindset of people who choose to play a multiplayer game but refuse to work with others. I believe he also said he's flying solo and friendless on his server - there's bound to be a group you can get in and make friends with somewhere on your server if you make the attempt. Level of social awkwardness comes into play but if you put yourself out there and don't suck, someone will eventually extend a hand to you. It's true that it's much harder to make friends or get into groups than it was on XIV but there are still avenues to do so and cutting yourself off from everyone else in a multiplayer game just doesn't make a lick of sense.

Easier to model in a bridge versus remodeling the entire zones to work with flight to fill in all the geometry gaps/shortcuts taken with the ground-view in mind. Doubt we'll see flight in ARR zones until the year they revamp core content a la WoW's Cataclysm.

North is the far end. If you don't have OT voke it off and hold it there after alarm goes off you're doing it wrong.

Why do people defend their inefficient and bad practices in dealing with the Oppressor at the start? If we're not going to zerg it down before 0.5 spawns, or shortly thereafter, why the fuck tank it North then expect the OT to pick up 0.5 and run South? Any action by the MT will make that fucker ping-pong. They then proceed to spend the whole fucking time crewing up and trying to justify being shit when they know it's a worse approach.

It's Alexander Normal. It doesn't mean you play like shit and do dumb stuff when you know better. I mean there's fucking people wearing fucking Savage drops in there who expect the OT to pick up Dolls on Faust.

So it *is* possible to kill 1.0 before 0.5 spawns? Can someone find a video of this?

Split is forced at 20%, so no it's not possible. You can get the main oppressor down to 10-15% by the time the 0.5 comes out easily but you can't ever prevent it from spawning.

Today I got WAR who single pulls packs in Fractal and an A4 where I had to solo heal because the whm didn't know the fight at all - if I hadn't bothered to raise him maybe we would have won except for perhaps one of the tanks who admitted at the end that he didn't have provoke. Of course all these people are in law gear. Loving how all the people who avoided doing Alex to upgrade their gear are now doing it for the late busywork relic. So many misplaced priorities!

You would have loved my fully geared DRK single pulling in Wanderer's Palace. Normal, not HM. He even managed to get lost, to pull optional packs and frequently stopped moving altogether for up to 20s between pulls. I don't think I've had a longer WP run since 2.0.

About 1/3 of the time, tanks in A4N are having hate wars because everyone's rushing and in a hurry to get it over with. Even some basic communication that takes one line of "I'll MT" or "I'll OT" would be nice.
