It's way beyond streaks, which I understand happen.

Staplerguy is right though, that post made no sense. Damn near the caliber of the good old "No DRG for party, camp spot site with 30 dmg, but is it for 20 like 30 dmg when you no hit be it for dd, for 30 dmg instead? or half is 10 for 20 dmg? " quote.
Gathering always felt like it took your gathering success rate as a chance to roll a two-sided dice saying success/fail if it's under 100%.
If this game's taught me anything, is that RNG is indeed real. That or someones out to get me
The amount of times my rolls where someone will conveniently one up me is too damn much and has lead me to conclude that RNG is not not RNG in this game lol
I'm happy to get outright beaten (my 35 to their 52) but to see my roll of 35 get upstaged by a 36 is really too noticeable and happens more frequently than not.
Of course I have no proof and will just have to accept RNG is RNG and I get bad RNG, but I definitely do not believe the numbers generated are accurate.
The only concrete fact about it is that true RNG is impossible for computers and there's likely a time function involved. If people lot stuff at approximately the same time that kind of thing will happen more often than it should. Also why I wait a moment before my next crafting action whenever one fails.
I guess that's true. I just didn't know if there was some kinda gathering fatigue system in the game since it seemed to start suddenly. Leveling BTN and MIN at the same time and went from 20-30 on both in two days. Most of the frustration was coming from using the "Gather 40 items" and "Complete X Nodes, while collecting a minimum of Y items" leves to recharge GP for assessment Leves I had next. Almost failing to get 2/3 the potential items when your gathering rate is 80% was annoying.
Don't forget that even if it were true RNG, people notice it more when things go badly. So you get a bad streak, get annoyed about it, and then notice every subsequent bad streak more, making you think they're happening more but they're not.
97% of people experiencing normal probability results don't post about it.
How about you just make the client recheck the query a second later instead of being archaic? Please wait and try your search again.
Sifting through the marketboard quickly is a pain in the ass.
It seems the Report Harassment form is also on RNG now... took me a few attempts to load it last night. How the fuck can that break lol

Did a expert roulette with a buddy couple of days ago. After a few pulls we notice that the tank is not using any cds whatsoever. Literally 0. So we kinda ask why and he goes like "I trust your heals"....wat? Is that what your random DF tank thinks? That he only has to use CDs when he's at friggin 500 hp? Fuckin wow.
Kinda similar to what I experienced in expert. They wouldn't pop CDs (plural) until they were under 30%, and by that time I already had to drop clerics and blow a charge or two on lustrate since Eos can't keep a tank up solo without regular CD cycling.
Also DRKs who never use Abyssal Drain w/ Dark Arts to be self-sustainable on large pulls since Blood Price would be keeping their MP topped off for awhile. Mashing Unleash is inefficient when a pull is already settled.
I mostly blame that on not understanding the job you're working with as a healer. If it didn't constitute chat spam, I'd make a /p macro telling them to lay off the stuns for a bit.
