You know you fucked up when something with a drop rate so absolutely abysmal that most people don't even know it exists is still several times more common than something that people can just go spend a couple hours at best getting with a friend.

I feel like other games would have a condition to see that chest spawn. Like, for the item to be this rare, the community must be doing something wrong(win in x time, 0 deaths, kill echidna first in snake phase both times, etc). Unfortunately, ffxiv doesn't allow for secrets and hidden gems so its definitely just RNG :\
Tfw darklight meant something
Darklight Breeches of Healing are still pretty awesome for glam.![]()
darklight cowl of healing is one of the few robes i actually like. it's just short enough to avoid all the awful clipping most robes get, and it's got mothafuckin armor.
I'm glad I've kept mine. I never noticed the healing robe having armor though, I gotta look again
I might trash the MNK and BRD ones though, never liked them too much but kept it out of novelty.
I still enjoy the tank one, but with the ilvl90 set essentially being the same thing I might trash that too
Im still waiting for some dank havel-the-rockesque tank set
you'll probably be waiting a while, if the current trend holds true. the large majority of the new armor added since 3.0 has been derivative as fuck. reskins, copy/paste mashups, etc. All sorts of re-used assets. Void ark falls into the copy/paste mashup, btw. there is very little original work done on those sets. the bottles are reskinned pastes from old casting armor, the pauldron on scouting is a reskinned paste from picaroon's set, etc etc. the number of sets with mostly unique design barely breaks two digits, if im remembering some of the Eso sets correctly. Depends on how you count it, I guess, but yeah.
I'm fond of pretty much the entire Darklight Healing set. I use the boots for glamour on just about everything. The gloves are kinda neat too, claws and whatnot. Robe is sexy, for obvious reasons.
I like the level 58 vendor arms/feet of healing, too. they're Daystar except silver instead of bright gold, so you can actually match them with stuff.
Since YoshiP's crew can't into attributes that mean fuck-all without changing the rules when they need to band-aid something, how long before ARR goes the way of TOR and ditches them all in favor of a simpler system with 'Power', +HP, and +MP stats?
Because that's basically how they're treating them currently, the sole exception being Cleric's stance, which they could just rename the tooltip to say swaps Healing Magic Potency with Attack Magic Potency.
You say it like it's not already at that point.
Crit: increases damage in a passive manner that does not effect gameplay
Det: increases damage in a passive manner that does not effect gameplay
SS: increases damage in a mostly passive manner that does not significantly effect gameplay
PIE: MP
Parry: AIDS
The only thing stopping it from being Power/MP/Shit is Accuracy, which is the only actually important secondary, and the game would be better off without it because it's nothing but an arbitrary restriction that adds nothing to the game.
Can anyone help me find the Q&A where someone asked if we will get 1 scion back per patch? (not sure if it was before 3.1 or not)
