Yeah there's always that one guy...I'm just sayin you shouldn't be surprised at a steep drop in certain items. All of them being up for 3.5m means nothing if nobody's buying them, especially if an undercutter thinks it's a ridiculous price. In this case I don't even think that dinosaur looks that great.
also shouldn't be surprised when supply and demand work as intended
Honestly markets for newer and rarer items on my server are usually free of massive undercutting in the first week or so. It's the markets for items like materia or certain commonly used mats that always blow my mind because of the random undercutting people do.
For example, I have 30 command IV materia? Well, I guess I should put them up all at once undercutting by 20k. New person comes in, looks at the lowest listing price and undercuts them by 5k. Then more people will undercut him by 200-1k at a time until the price has tanked by 30-40k because of one person. The whole entire time not a single person realizes they could have priced their single materia 10-15k above the guy trying to sell 30 at once and it would've sold just as fast. Instead, because of one person undercutting everyone else follows suit. Then 4-5 days later the market stabilizes near the price before the undercut until the cycle repeats a week later. This shit happens all the time and it drives me up the wall.
The Red Zu is a mogstation item.
Fuck.
Crystal Tower being one of two ways to acquire the item you need for the relic upgrade lmao
Someone calling a Bennu a Red Zu.
Did Labyrinth of Ancients today and managed to wipe to King Behemoth and Phlegeton. Twelve people died to the first meteor on King Behemoth. Party A alone had seven people die. Surprising it was the most fun i think i've had on this game in quite sometime.
I actually had a pretty clean LotA today. People were being retards in /a, but otherwise no wipes. I was really surprised.
I'm happy Syrcus has revived, though. It's one of my favorite areas to run for relaxing.
Random complaint: People are bad at Gubal. How. Why. Gubal is also fun because it exposes people who never ran AK when it was relevant.
WoD was fun yesterday.
Our SMN in the party insisted on using Titan and pulling (while most if not all people were in the room) first. He did speed up our run though while people were bumming around staring at the boss.
People in the other teams were getting really really angry over the use of Titan.
I was also accused of attemting to wipe the alliance vs Cerberus, I was holding onto the ball while Cerb is slumped on the floor. People started calling me out until I attached the ball to Cerb just as his cast bar was at 100% for him recovering.
So yeh, good fun all around.
I'm going to do WoD more later to try for my pet.
I've been spamming Pharos Hard and Arboretum and haven't seen a single Coat of the Daring Duelists drop, let alone any body pieces really. It's all been leg armour from the final bosses. I just got the Drg lore body piece and find it kind of fugly especially without having the rest of the set. And I want that coat to do some glamouring ._.
I tanked King Behemoth once or twice on Monk. I told the alliance I'd do it, nobody believed me and went full "do it fgt i dare u" so I shoulder-tackled and went ham on it.
Actually kept hate for half of the fight when a tank decided to take over.
...I did it for phleg too. Shit was funny as hell.
Those drops started to annoy the hell out of me because I kept getting coats even when I didn't want 'em. My condolences to you.
Been hitting the Arboretum for the card and minion, (I want the card, of course it dropped to others, Minion dropped once, went to the Pug in the group. So it goes) But I saw two of your Coats drop over the runs, and at least one other body piece. RNG gods are petty little ones.
I haven't seen a random body drop for tank or aiming since 3.0. Dungeons, VA, whatever: I don't see it.
Mouse-over reliability took a nose-dive in 3.25. The amount of times I've adlo'd or leeched myself in the past week when it was meant for someone else, reminds me of early FCoB times when that same problem arose.
They need to base the mouse off the hardware cursor already when it's selected instead of the shit software one that lags a few frames behind.
Coming from WoW, the mouseover functionality has never felt reliable to me in this game. Hard to imagine it's gotten even worse.
Yeah that too.
Also fuck people that don't tip, claim to have no money, hand you mats with like 4 other crafter sigs on them to get you to make the final product. This guy who's on my flist tonight but whose name I don't recognize at all does this, trades me only about 3/4 of the mats for something, gets confused when I say 1 of the things he traded needed other stuff but not to worry about it, cancels the trade then even trades me less than before and asks if it's ok. By this point I'm like fuck it, the other stuff isn't that special, I'll do a favor, make the item, no tip as specified. I port out to do other stuff and the guy goes "alright NEXT" and I'm just like nope, afk.
Even explained to him it's a bit shady to say he couldn't give me even a token amount but these mats, the mats he bought, he's probably paid those crafters well. One of those mats the same qualifications from that crafter they could've made the final product even...
Just about to stop making stuff "for mats" for all but the closest of friends. People are like "here let me give you 10k for your work making this stuff" when I'm easily out 50k at least just off of running to the current Mor Dhona node for grade 4 carbonized matter, let alone stuff that actually needs decent stats or hq results to be worth a damn.
i actually just hope i never see a WAR in my party. this wayi know dancing edge will be up 100%of the time.
