That 13:58, 82 deaths Calofisteri made me want to kill myself. I managed to healer LB3 twice ffs.

I'll never understand why so many people have trouble with the final boss. Other than the charge/slice combo I never have an issue unless some idiot triggers her hair trap and groups up a good chunk of the alliance.
What's the time threshold to get the different dialogue before Hullbreaker Isle's second boss? I've only seen it once, and we didn't feel that fast that time, but apparently we were like the fucking wind compared to normal EXDR.
Probably 1 fan fest minion per region. Who's ready to pay what will likely be $60 ($20 per region) for the full set? : ^ )
I particularly feel bad for the people paying $135 for a live ticket
So apparently the tank that left my RL friend's static had completely made up some sob story about him having to leave suddenly with increased work hours and his school schedule. Turns out he tried to join this other static his new lady friend had gotten invited to join that was looking for members and I guess they didn't end up liking him after some runs. So my friend sees him back around here suddenly trying to say what's up... and my friend is not having any of that shit, isn't budging at all. I guess I am staying now for keeps! Funny I had always told him the only way I would keep playing this game is if I make/join a solid static or end up joining his personal static, and the latter finally happened.
My complaint here is that this guy was actually a pretty cool friend of mine the first 6 months when I started the game and taught me everything about Warrior class, how to triple fell cleave, best builds, etc. I am a bit conflicted about the whole thing, but on the other hand.. what he did was a pretty fucked up and shady thing to do. If he wanted out, he should have just said so instead of making up a lame story and creating drama.
Overall though I am happy. We run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which are my most hated days, so it really makes the week go by very fast, leaving the weekend off all to myself. Not going to lie though, coming straight home from work to raid sucks ass but because it's my RL friend, and on the count of what happened, it really motivates me more than anything to try to down Nidhogg EX.
We had a great first attempt at Nidhogg EX, despite me tanking in the group for the first time and having about 3 other reps for mains this week. We pushed to his Dragon/Dragoon form once, and would have kept on doing so if not for the reps we had for some people, kept dying due to lag. To be fair, lately a lot of people have been complaining about lag. I don't notice it at all but if that's why we are getting maintenance, I hope this solves it.
Got my new 4k monitor plugged into my lappy. Each time I tab or click out of FFXIV into anything else and go back the screen goes black for a few seconds then goes back to game haven't been booted just a little annoying and oldest thread i could find is from 2014. I got a nvidia 980m.
Fuck this god damn piece of shit Mhachi 24 man raid. Every boss is complete garbage trying to get 24 people to do 3 simultaneous mechanics over and over. Yeah its great for 8 man raids but 24 random DF coordination is laughable in this game. This shit gives me cancer every time I go its always THE ENTIRE TIMER and multiple wipes to every boss.
Fucking kill me.
God damn it I'm just yelling about it on my Discord server and I dont even think anyone is here I don't even care.
Thank you, Hellfury. Was getting so mad tabbing between game and random stuff. Got so bad I shouted for help in Idyllshire.
Curious Hellfury, do you know why it does that? Click in the window then when it flashes black the mouse moves back to laptop screen if not carefully paying attention?
yeah. fullscreen mode always does that shit, which is why most people prefer fullscreen windowed. not just for this game; for any game you tab out of occasionally.
resetting your mouse position... dunno, man. look for a setting that says something like "lock cursor within borders" or something. might help.
Another trial roulette tonight with someone insisting we take out the stone vigil hm knockoff dragon add out first in Nidhogg, even after explaining he's entirely avoidable.
I just have the groups do him first for the reason they can't into dodging non-telegraphed AoEs (despite obvious animation wind-ups), and the faster it's dead, the less time half the dps spend in the add phase with dmg-down debuffs when the DPS checks are not being met because the DPS are terrible in general.
Spoiler: show
Like this group got the triple whammy:
-DPS can't dodge shit
-DPS can't DPS
-Wants to kill Dragon first.
I always assumed it was a rendering issue, but I never actually did any research on it I fear. Glad it helped
and since it's the random complaints thread: fuck people who abuse the I get why they made it so that you had to click on the hotbar to step off the questmounts, but really, childproofing even that stuff?
Getting i220 and apparently missing the learning cycle for Nidhogg EX. Only groups I see now are "EXP or GTFO"
I'm in the same situation, recently came back from a 9 month break, spent the first week getting to 220, no static (obviously) and missed the first train, now I'm stuck with the baddies that can't clear it and keep doing stupid mistakes over and over, I've joined several "Last phase training" PF's, only one of them managed to get to the last phase... twice, before disbanding because people kept messing up.
I had a static since the first coil, I never had to deal with learning parties on PF and I realized I can't deal with them, they're horribly frustrating, most competent people already killed it because it's one of the easiest EX primals, farm parties don't want bonus and ask for 225+ ilvl.
I want to get the damn weapon so I can spend the lore tomes on gear instead of the weapon, I don't think it's gonna happen.
