This is where you're supposed to have ACT open during the run, and then make a collage of ignorant players' dialog paired with their DPS for our entertainment.

That's the same form as rockbreaker though. When's that become better than doing that? Rockbreaker on even 3 mobs is gonna be 390 potency, you'd need a mob to stay alive the whole dot for demolish to catch up and pass that, and even then that's 420 potency (less counting dots don't benefit from dragon kick) if executed from the rear. Miss that rear bonus and it would just never catch up.

And speaking of AOE damn DF is bad right now. Kick a nin for single-targetting a 10-mob pull, mnk comes in and we say why nin was kicked while he catches up, he proceeds to stay over 950 tp the next 6-mob pull. I stop and go "look, when you join a party where they say they kicked a guy for not aoe'ing properly, you might want to put some effort into not doing the same damn thing."

edit: and just some rough math but if that 350 potency demolish dot doesn't benefit from 10% you're losing 35 ending up with 385 potency. I know you're not gonna have dk on each mob either but it just needs a mob to last so long I just can't see using it on trash pulls.

Regardless, that wasn't the problem. Tank was mad I kept pulling hate because he was terrible, healer clearly wasn't paying attention to why I was getting hit. AOE wouldn't have addressed their silly concerns

But if you're using a parser you're a dirty cheater!

On a serious note: This is why I wish the dev team would quit being pussies and add a parser. Yes I know some people will abuse it, but at the same time having a way being able to gauge your own skill compared to others/shut up people that don't know what they're talking abut outweigh the cons.

Yeah that seems incredibly petty to complain about dotting a 2nd mob in a 2-mob pull. And to pull hate off just that? You should probably be posting in random praise you got kicked from that mess.

Our static has missed ~6 weeks of A8S now looking for an 8th. Our BRD quit over a Twine.....

Anyways we are all picking up BRD/MCH, some serious and some for fun. I was kinda liking Bowmage until I did a lvl50 Roulette. BRD was awesome at 50, felt badass running around bowing stuff.

The lack of elemental or typing weakness is the problem. Bard being as-good as other DPS with none of the risks meant you had no reason to bring not-bards. Nerfing bard damage meant you were penalized for playing one at all. They couldn't balance caster DPS to bard's freedom of movement, and they tried several times in 2.x to get it right. None of it worked.

It's still pretty fucking stupid though.

DRK is king at crowd control unless you have a WHM holy the mobs to death that prevents you to get your MPs back.

Before getting used to it, it was a little annoying, but now I'm fine with brdmove and brdstand. Though, after doing all the sub-60 roulettes the next 60 thing I do after usually starts with me thinking "oh yea, I don't work that way anymore".

Makes sense. Though I don't much about DRK other than they're common as hell in PUGs and most seem to take longer to get solid hate.

I keep running into DRKs who either can't manage MP, or don't use Darkside at all. Need to block out their 3rd hit of their hate combo as well as Unleash if Darkside isn't up or some shit.

Do the same for DRGs and Heavy Thrust.

the number of times i've gotten into shit with drks who won't use darkside is WAY WAY WAY too many.

Last two days I;ve been getting groups that wipe to the add phase of Forgall. I didn't even know there was a time limit on the adds until now.

Complaint: Had a healer die fighting Mistbeard at the end of Hullbreaker. She didn't remove poison and stood on a barrel and promptly went from 14k to zero HP at 40%.

Humblebrag: We won anyway because Clemency's only purpose is making up for terribad healers.
