People in this game are flat out retarded, not only they suck playing the game itself but they also lack any fucking economic sense, woke up to see that someone had an epiphany and decidec to put up 10+ HQ ingots used to craf the new crafting gear for 40k cheaper than the NQ ones and freaking half of the HQ were selling for, they aren't selling slowly, you can sell 6+ a day if you keep putting a pair or three everytime you sell yours and price them reasonably, why the FUCK would you undercut by 140k?
And whats worse? instead of letting the cheap ones be sold, people put their ingots for that price now, go fuck yourselves, seriously.
I was having my fun with the market not that I don't raid, and decided to go full craft, but these people take all the fun away by putting things up at the same price the base materials cost.
Clearly the answer to that is to acquire enough gil to take advantage of that whenever you see it, buy them and relist. :D
I've done that with cheap items and made quite a profit, but I don't dare do that with the more expensive ones, because knowing them they'll probably relist 20 more at the same price if they see I'm buying them en masse. At least that's what I do when I see someone in a buying spree.
Well, it's the playerbase YoshiP wanted it seems. I liked the "blind auction" XI had honestly, yeah you can catch someone selling an emp hairpin for 1 gil and relist it for the 2.7m it was back in the back in the day, but prices largely were stable prior to the 2005 gil seller blowout where pretty much everyone with a spare $10 bought about 20 mil gil and aside new items being released where people think: "Huh, new easy to get item? 7 million on AH!" for the first few weeks.
It's pretty retarded I Can set up 2 HQ Eikon Fending pants for 540k and some cockslap puts up 7 HQ for 210k. You could literally make a profit as there's only 9 being sold in total, so the market isn't exactly flooded..
Also having to manage 8 mules constantly due to undercutting is quite annoying. I greatly preferred the FFXI style bidding.
Finally got around to downing nidhogg, as NIN main it wasn't a high priority, lore 230 > horde daggers. But it only took 2 runs. First run we were just getting to the start of the row bombs and I'd heard the rest was "the hard part" but after seeing how little there was to it, I'm really disappointed, and more importantly concerned for future extremes.
Only 'hard' part of NidEX is the Fang and Claw portion because one blue-tether idiot is always taking damage somehow that isn't part of the stack group. Such an easily recoverable fight otherwise as long as you have good healers.
Yeah, and Thordan/Sephirot were such good fights. Even Ravana/Bismark were more satisfying to learn. I hope this one's the exception rather than the rule for the future.
Goddess/Demon or whatever the next Triad is will probably (hopefully) be something akin to Seph Ex.
There goes again the same retard putting up 8 HQ ingots for less than the NQ ones (he did the same yesterday), well, fuck you too. You're not going to make any profit, I've already made my millions /startsundercuttingwar
Has anyone actually tried SephEx in DF?
I need one more Totem and only the absolute shitters are left on my server's PF.
DF worked surprisingly well for RavanaEx, but that's more of a personal responsibility battle than SephEx where your life is dependent on others. I'm scared.
Also, complaint: Somehow, people still manage to get hit by every AOE in Void Ark. Void Ark.
People are already trying to ignore mechanics/ "outgear" Weeping City so we wipe on the silliest of shit on NA Datacenter.
Also Seph DF is pretty abysmal because of the bare minimum people getting in so no DPS check met if you even get out of phase 1 because for some reason people love to chase you with their circle.
Had a FInal Steps of Faith trial. 3 people said they were new.
I said "dodge" and "everyone stack on the arrow at the end" because that's literally the fight.
Holy shit people weren't even trying. How did they get this far into the game.
Probably because the rest of the Main Story is easy and forgiving enough that even average players can easily carry others through it?
Well, can't argue that lol, didn't cross my mind.
