1aa) if not, are those 980ti's sli'd or properly configured?
2) why is his cooling situation so bad?
2a) if he can afford two 980ti's, how can he not afford fans to keep them cooled?
2aa) if he can afford two 980ti's, why can't he afford air conditioning?

Duty Finder Antitower 60 Roulette: had to carry fucking everything (including my own healing) because these retards literally could not stand out of even the most basic AoE, let alone that conal Croak shit (AST and SMN literally stood in this and died from full HP on the first wipe, leaving me to stand there with Concussion). Had to deal with all adds because neither of the DDs were/barely able to do any damage. Wound up killing Zuro Roggo on the second attempt just barely with all three of them dead, and I just fucking left.

DPS as you can imagine was dismal, taking almost 6 minutes on the first and second attempts.

Outside the smn with their earring and necklace none of them are egregiously geared. Two of them look like they just hit 60 and are scrapping together what ever gear they can get. They're skill on the other hand...

Because whenever they do add DPS checks or ...dare I say, pay the fuck attention checks, the NA playerbase tend to whine and whine until SE nerfs it. Look at how fast people bail on Final Steps of Faith with a SOFT DPS check that's above the usual spam 1 button content for story content. Look at how badly people fail that, even on the healer end (is it that hard to AoE heal and precast?)

SE knows their majority playerbase is too dumb to handle anything, which is why said majority on OF seem to question SE for making Savage/Ex primal content when "Most people won't even touch it so stop wasting resources" This game has no reason to ever 'git gud' for most of the content. It's either memorize the script or suffer, not necessarily skill based. Even XI with stun locking and such cheesing still required you to know wtf you're doing the majority of the time because you did NOT want to be the one that caused a wipe in Dynamis back in the day or Proto Omega/Ultima by being terrible at your job and the game.

That AMD 9590 is actually a CPU and not a GPU, and it does run a little on the hot side, but how either that or his 980ti's are causing significant heat issues is a mystery.

And unfortunately this is a cycle SE will never break which will continue to drag this game down. There is no challenge/push to learn your job since this game hands you everything (except Savage gear which is a different problem entirely) on a silver platter by doing the easiest content in the game. It's pretty much why I'm quitting again before my next sub since between the mind numbingly boring cycle of doing weekly caps and nothing else and the world feeling so empty where the only social interaction seems to come from RMT tells (Which is still pretty bad on why SE hasn't fixed this yet from a developer standpoint) I don't see why this game hasn't crashed yet.

I remember people bitching about Sastasha HM being to hard and then they nerfed it a bit

I think doing DPS checks behind mainstory missions is not good, but they could add some soft DPS checks on sidequests that reward Glamour or access to a specific Dungeon.

Sash HM got nerfed? It's always felt the same to me, besides the boost in iLvl vs. its release.

Yep, Kraken got nerfed a bit, Morrigan got nerfed a bit. Don't think the scorpion did much if at all.

I think the dungeon nerf that irks me the most is Amdapor Keep.

yeah, pharos had a litany of nerfs mostly around.... I think the first and the last boss.

I don't mind the nerfs that are for time conscious reasons (removing a couple trash packs in Amdapor/Pharos Norm), but straight up removing difficulty of bosses when gear acquisition and future updates will fix that for them bugs me.

I don't even remember Sash HM being problematic outside of healers who couldn't into Esuna the first boss. Kraken still feels the same here unless the nerf was to tornado damage or some shit, which I never see anyways.

I didn't know they had nerfed the kraken in sastasha HM, but it did need a nerf. the hard thing about kraken was staying awake.

I think Kraken nerf was his hp. If anything that's more of a QOL change than a difficulty nerf.
