Aye, I've accepted defeat. I'll just do it gradually; pvp a day, 1 or 2 24mans a day (I can use some of the first 2 24man coins) and maybe a dungeon. Will join normal A1-A12 for bonus in PF for a bit of light when I can.

The very sad thing is, looking at the light tracker, no one reports much on it. There's so little "choice" to do lights on. I would've forgiven it if I had to grab 1000 lights instead of 2000.

But blurgh. I'll do it by Stormblood for sure, but I ain't gonna rush.

If you do the pvp, it has a pretty decent lightbase if memory serves, and you can use the currency to buy ventures (buy the i110 accessories and trade in for gc seals, then buy ventures), chances are at start of Stormblood that your retainers can bring you a lot of money from the materials they can go get while you do other stuff.
(I saved up 4000 ventures for it, pretty sure at least 3000 of those was from relic work)

Well, removing the cap on Dun Scath brougth the worse in people out again, from those camping an "In progress" instance to those who throw an absolute fit and try to vote kick people out after making a single mistake. Had a BRD who initiated two DPS voke kick both which were accepted just like that, both were replaced by BRDs who outlooted him on the gear everytime it droped, funny to witness.

Camping for in progress still gives you a penalty if you do it too often. And one person can't initiate 2 kicks since there's a cooldown for kicking people.

Otherwise prepping a full set of 270 gear for Bloodstorm I rather settle for 260 and call it a day

The frustrating thing is when people click no, the queue sort of breaks sometimes. So for example, we can be 23/24.... one guy hits no or fails to accept. Then, for some absolutely dumb reason I need to sit in queue for another 5 minutes sometimes. I really want to see the queue logic.

I wished it was like the pvp queue instead. Where the queue gets in-progress filled once the initial lot gets in.

This is why it gets frustrating and old pretty quicky, that queue reset happen quite often.

Doing ARR relic and decided to do some Halatali Hard, ended up in a Party with BLM and BRD as DPS so I thougth "Great!" over time I starter to wonder, why is the DPS so low... Things should melt.. Then I saw a Fire III crit for 366 and I was like "Hold on..."
